There is really no point in worrying, irrespective of what you believe in.

The only thing worth worrying about is here and now. Be the best you can for yourself as well as for others. That will give you joy and satisfaction in this life.

And if there is an afterlife you get a bonus by going to the good place.

So stop worrying, cheer up and do good.

Since you asked, I am a Christian who respects the view of all others.

Am I worried at all where I shall go in the afterlife? Gosh, no, lad, the decidedly silly idea of an 'afterlife' was a marketing ploy of early Christians--and no more than that. Any rational human critter knows no such thing exists. Dead is dead, life is over, you have had your chance to make the world better than it was when he came squalling from the womb. You are a fine chap and no doubt you hope to live on through eternity. I would not burst your bubble for all the world. But you are smart enough to know the idea of living forever is absolutely absurd. Will you alone be living on after our species goes the way of all species, extinct? Or will you alone be hanging around till our star goes nova and engulfs most of the solar system, including our pretty blue ball. Anyway, lad, be well, be happy, and cast light on what you have, a disastrously short span of years until you are six feet under and a feast for underground critters.

well I used to be Southern Baptist, that's what I was raised, then a couple of churches really crapped on me, tried to get my son taken away from me and everything, just because I was a single mom and had to work, anyway LONG story short, I still believe in God and Jesus Christ and everything but I don't follow any organized religion. I believe that if God exists there's no way we could possibly know him. Oh and to answer your question, yes sometimes I worry about where me and my loved ones are going to go.

No why would I be? My religion doesn't believe in eternal damnation. The gods will put me where they want me. With my ancestors. And probably where I will cause the least amount of trouble.......hehe Thought I hear Thor's is the place to be. Then again, I know a lot of Thorsman.

The birth, death and life are real only when it is viewed and judged on the physical point of view. When the knower of the physical body is not the physical body but it is the invisible spirit.
Therefore it is necessary to investigate the validity of one's physical identity in order to know the after life.
If you prove physical identity is the true identity then you can talk of after life.
If you cannot prove it the present experience of lief itself is illusion.

Does it really matter? I'm not. I believe that you get heaven or hell, right here on earth. I'm too worried about what's happening here right now and where is my next meal coming from, why worry about the "after life", which by the way, is an oxymoron, after life is death, period. As people say" We'll cross that bridge when we get there", if we get there at all.

I am agnostic. I am just going to live my life the best i can and have as much fun, love, and good times as i can. I think thats how everyone should live. I try not to let the thought of there being no afterlife get me down. I guess we'll all have to wait and see what comes along.

I'm only worried about it a tiny bit. I'm a Christian and I believe I will die and spend eternity with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.
