Meats all have high protein you can also go for Eggs, legumes, seeds, nuts and cheese. One that kids tend to like is peanut butter. Spread some on an apple or celery as a snack. If you are looking to just add a little more to their current diet try adding powdered milk to mashed potatoes, pudding, yogurt, pancake batter. It has about 3 grams of protein for every tablespoon

Peanut butter is a good snack that is high in protein as well as things like milk, cheese and yogurt s long as they are not the 'low-fat' or 'no-fat' kind. Try adding a tad more butter to their food to increase their protien intake as well. Macaroni and cheese would work great and every kid loves it.

make protein options fun!
chicken nuggets + ranch dressing= clean plate
(at least at our house)
we never have fish sticks.....my daughter calls them "mermaid nibbles"
make them homemade with their favorite flavors and they are far more likely to eat them (+ be less filled with god knows what preservatives and such) They can be quick and fun and good eats all the way around.
My kids love anything wrapped in phyllo dough, too....so we have "pot pie squares" and other stuff that we can invent.
check out the kraft website at http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/FoodandFamily/Fall_2007/meatballs.htm
for a fun recipe
Nestle has a good website too, but the absolute best is www.foodnetwork.com

Get them the pediasure drinks- that way you can keep feeding them the same foods you like to cook and they will be getting the nourishment they need. They sell it in the baby food aisle and they come in 3 or 4 different flavors. Kids love them cause they tase like milkshakes.
