Because, as we all well know, a united, peaceful, one-world government is ACTUALLY the precursor to the apocalypse and its leader the anti-Christ himself.

Therefore it would be better for the world to remain divided? Or should we allow such a government to form so as to usher in the one true savior?

SECOND, fun-part, of question:
Based on what I have said can you guess what my personal religious beliefs are?

O man, you guys are way off!

SS_12 is the closest though. I was trying to be sarcastic and funny with all that peace and one true savior hoopla. I’m not an atheist but I don’t believe in any religion. There may be a god, there may not.

Looking around at the world leaders today, there is no possibility that any of them could ever possibly cause peace anywhere in the world, let alone a peaceful one world government.

So I don't think this is anything we need to consider unless something very drastic changes, such as the real Messiah coming.

The AntiMessiah has already been here and spread his murderous bloodshed world-wide for the past 2000 years, caused the Jews to be scattered around the world instead of ingathered, has done the OPPOSITE of every Jewish prophecy such as bringing world peace, no more illness, Universal Knowledge of God, the 2nd Temple was destroyed in that era, and the 3rd not rebuilt, etc. So the AntiMessiah and his followers have already come and has been with us for the past 2000 years, ever since he supposedly walked the earth in Galilee.

EDIT: Yep, I thought I had detected a note of slight sarcasm in your "ACTUALLY the precursor to the apocalypse..." etc. I didn't guess Christian because of that, but was hesitant to say atheist either, so just left it.

Well that's really deep, but mandatorilly simple to answer when you think about it considering what you may already know. I feel that this won't happen unless it needs to happen. For example, say we had WW3...a "new world order" if you will, would most likely come to exist after the worst damage has already been done, especially if it went nuclear to some extent. Much like a cold or flu which is a pain in the *** until your really hackin' up the butter(phlegm), then and only then will it start to let up; at least for a while. I hope I don't sound ignorant or vague to you, as this conflict is only going in one direction and even a blind person could see this. I hope there's a peaceful solution to all this delusion that seems to be buying time and taking lives. And as for your religion, are you agnostic or a christian?

It's a little more complicated than that. Peace is great, but, at what price? Would you be willing to live a life in bondage without any personal freedom for this peace? There are many things that divide people besides government; religion for example. Would this one world government be religion free? How about nationalities? Intellectual levels? While there might actually be advantages to a 'Brave New World' there would also be disadvantages. There is no one cure for the natural balance of nature. Without the bad, how would we know what is good?

I am in favor of a united, peaceful one-world government under Christ. I do not believe that it is possible any other way. I don't believe that I have the power to prevent or to initiate a one world government of any kind. I see the world as divided by very powerful forces at present.

Second part - you are a fundamentalist of some kind.

The thought of a one world government scares me. There's no way for anyone to guarantee peace throughout the world. If it should turn out to be that this Leader is evil, there's nowhere to run. I think you are agnostic. Which by the way means unsure of God's existance.

I am against a single global government because then all cultures would be formed into one. I think there would be many rebellions against this government too, for the fact that all poeple, no matter what religion or ethnicity have to follow the same laws, under one flag.

Oh the fun part... I think you're Christian

I definitely would not be in favor of a one-world government. I believe we are fast approaching that day, however, because of the many things being put into place for monitoring people's activities, etc.

The world will always be divided on governmental issues until Jesus Christ comes back to rule & reign. He will reign with perfect justice for everyone, something men/women have failed miserably at.

As for your beliefs, I think you believe that the Bible is the Inspired Word of God, and that what is written will actually come to pass. God bless!!

Well, first, I don't care what your religious beliefs are.
But the serious question that you posed is very valid. I AM in favor of a one world mechanism, think Nobel Prize committee backed by authority and force, to make and enforce those decisions that threaten our planet or mass extermination of peoples. Decisions would be made on humanitarian and mutual concerns rather than egoistic, economic, me - first, strictly economical and nationalist concerns.
I am afraid that we will be forced to confront these issues when catastrophe is upon us rather than strategic planning in a rationale setting.

The one world government is tied to a one world religion. And that is the antichrist, beast & false prophet.

Then there will be a one world government of Jesus Christ the King of Kings & Lord of Lords for the Millinnium Reign of Christ (After Jesus throws the beast & false prophet into the lake of fire.).

This web site clarified what I have been learning for the past few years http://www.lyitl.org/koran/index.html .

Either your religious beliefs are of the Messiah of the Christian faith, or the Messiah of the Muslim faith. So? I would say Christian.

As? After the rapture, then the world religion will probably be Islam & Islam's Jesus. And then also after that Jesus Christ rules for the Millinnium.
