Both.

The Bible is more informative about the religion, and Y/ answers about the people who reads it.
If you want to understand religion. You have to understand the people as well. Those who agree with, as well as those who don't.

I am a Christian. We don't live in a vacuum. We have to understand the Bible and those who read it.

Star back at you. :-)

I am not sure why we Jews should waste our time with you. However, there are those who would like to see an answer. If you want to know the difference between your Jesus and a Jewish man who might have been called Jesus by the Greeks, then you would have to look at your books and try to extract the real Jesus from what the Church tries to claim. It is obvious that the works of your Gospels were written well after the death of Jesus and by Gentiles who may not even have been able to understand the Hebrew or Aramaic works that may have been basis for the versions on which they were based. Notice that I did not call him Yshua or anything similar. There is no clear way to know what his name was. It was more likely Yose or Yosef than Yehoshua or any version of Yehoshua. Yet, your pastors try to give him a Hebrew name that serves their purpose, and picked one that is somewhat close to a name that the Greek writers of your Gospels chose. Start be examining the few verses that talk about Jesus's brother, whom you call St. James. How did he live? Did he appear to be an Orthodox Jew? The answer is yes. Did he eat kosher? Yes. Did he keep the Sabbath in an Orthodox manner? The answer is again, Yes. How did he differ from other Orthodox Jews? Does the Book of Acts show that he kept kosher and that he felt that the Gentiles who associated with his "church" should not keep kosher, but should stay away from "torn meat" one of the prohibitions that Jews know of as part of the Seven Noahide commandments. Then look at the portrail of Jesus. There are a few cases in which the Gospels ctry to show that Jesus disagreed with the Pharasees but these are few and far between. He is portrayed as knowing Jewish Law and explains away each error with a nice sarcastic comment. Now talking about sarcasm. Any Jewish scholar would recognize Jesus's remark about that which comes out of you as defiliing you as a great Mussar quip. No Jew would take that as an attack at kosher food. If it were, then why would St. James still eat kosher? So, what are you? You might claim to be a Jew but even Jesus would say that your actions are not Jewish and that you have left the religion of your and his birth. He would call you a dog as he called others like you.

You just get peoples opinions on Y answers (usually) not the true answer. Then again if you misinterpret the Bible you may get the wrong impression too.

I would say the Bible, but accompanied with the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

www.Vatican.va

So you get the interpretation right

For those of the True Christian Faith, or those honest seekers who come to The Bible open to the leading of God, The Bible is The source..... YA... especially R&S... is not the place to seek honest Biblical answers.

The Bible will provide nothing for those not open to the leading of God

Most Christians have never read the entire Bible, so it CAN'T be informative to them. That's why it's great to be able to show them what it REALLY says on Yahoo! Answers.

what star? Of course, Yahoo answers contain a lot of information that the Christians don't want you to hear, so in that sense it is more informative (and more reliable, to be honest, although some distort the facts, but that is obvious when the believers do it).
