Scriptures are physical based. the spiritual insights are hidden within the scriptures.It is difficult for the seeker of the truth to know the meaning of those insights.
The essence Veda's says dehum,nahuma ,kohum,sohum, it means 'I' is not the body 'i' is that means spirit or Atman.
The Bible says I am that i am, the spiritual interpretation is self is not physical but it is spirit.
The holy Koran decalrs Anal haq [I AM THE TRUTH ]spiritual interpretation is SELF IS THE SPIRIT WHICH IS TRUTH.
