I am very confused on what to do with my 2 month old son. He recieved his first set of shots on October 1st but i have been reading and told by many family members that i should stop the vaccinations until at least 2 years old. And To give my son the important shots but not all of them that the hospitals are schedualing. But i do not know which shots are "the important ones" Im not sure if the vaccination companies are introducting these new vaccinations due to a more recent outbreak, or if they are doing it jut to make money. And if i dont give my son the shots i take a chance of him getting one of these diseases. There is no proof that the shots cause Autism, but from the articles ive been reading it sure makes sense. Also i looked up my shot record (from 1982-3) I had 3 shots when i was a child Polio, MMR, and DTP and thats it! Mind you i have a 4 1/2 yr old and he recieved all his required shots up till now & he is fine. but i know a lot of people whos 2nd son is the one 2 get it.

DELAY THE VACCINATIONS ON YOUR BABY.
They are dangerous and cause autism. Everything I find indicates it is statistically much more likey the vaccination will damage your child than the diseases they (MAY OR MAY NOT) protect against. You will understand better after you visit the links I have provided.
That's great your 4 1/2 year old is fine but they aren't done shooting him full of poisons yet. Research the sites I and others provide before you let him get any more.

You will not believe what is actually in them! Here's a few examples that made me want to puke when I read them. Human diploid tissue culture, specifically WI-38, is used as a vaccine culture media. This cell line was developed in 1962 by the Wistar Institute in Sweden from the lung cells of an aborted female fetus. The parents were reported to be healthy.
Human diploid tissue culture, specifically MRC-5, is used as a vaccine culture media. This cell line was developed by the Medical Research Council of England from the lung tissue of a fourteen-week old male fetus, removed for psychiatric reasons from the mother in 1970.
Mouse brain is used as a vaccine culture media.
Thimerosal (mercury) is used as a preservative. (NEUROTOXIN)
Aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate, and aluminum potassium sulfate (NEUROTOXINS)

You can link to a safer vaccine schedule from the Generation website below.
Good Luck and God Bless

addendum: regarding the poster below that states there is "There is scientific evidence proving that vaccinations do not cause autism"
That is absolutely NOT TRUE!
There is NO scientfic evidence that proves vaccines don't cause autisms.
There are a few poorly designed studies funded by the vaccine producers that one could hardly call science that assert vaccines don't cause autism. The internals of even these biased studies indicates there are many serious problems caused by vaccinations but in the conclusions(which is often the only part reported on) there is no mention of these problems.
Simply put, the conclusion of the study does not reflect what the study actually found!
Deception of the worst kind. Deliberately misleading people so they can make billions of dollars. Vaccines may have thier place but the current one size fits all vaccine schedule is dangerous, unnecessary and frankly stupid. The more you dig into it the worse it smells.

This is a very personal decision that you need to weigh out and decide. I know it is hard. I vaccinated My first child pretty much all the way. My second child got Her first two rounds.(Got high fevers for 3 to 4 days afterwards) Now I think that there are some shots that I will not get them! The chicken pox for one. I will look into getting some of my second childs when she is older, Maybe! You really need to look at the diseases, and figure out which shots are important. There is a shot in the series for childhood diarrehea, now I don't see the need for that either. Just check out the diseases and figure out what is important to you! I also don't see the need for the Hep B shot being given to a newborn! If they are worried about the newborn getting it from the mom, test the mom. If she does not have it don't vaccinate for it that early! I just think that the vaccination schedule is messed up! As far as vaccines causing autism the jury is still out on that!!!

My 5 yr old autistic son is fully vaccinated. I am never going to give him any more. The last round of shots caused him to plateau in his speech therapy and now he has motor problems with speech ( less severe than verbal apraxia). The best thing you can do for your son is to avoid giving the hepatitis b shots until he reaches middle school. Hepatitis B is not neccessary at such a young age. The MMR shot is available as single vaccines. Check his vaccine titers before giving any booster shots. My son did not need additional mumps or rubella shots, only measles. I would definitely space the shots out. Don't give more than 1 vaccine at a time and NEVER when he is sick, has a runny nose or fever. Some parents got talked into this when their child still had a cold and then the child gets autism. What you should look for is getting repeated doses of antibiotics. If your child keeps getting repeated infections, you should definitely wait until he is much older to resume vaccinations. The combination of vaccines and overuse of antibiotics seems to push the immune system over the edge.
I am very tired of parents with normal kids saying that vaccines could never cause autism. The vaccination injury fund has paid out millions of dollars to families whose child died or were crippled for life. Many children who developed seizures after the shots have developed autism.
I point to the millions of undocumented illegal aliens that are bringing infectious diseases to the U.S. This is the only reason why I let them give my son the last of the booster shots.
I feel for the immunodeficient person but IT's MY right as a parent to refuse any more vaccines. An immunocompromised person is more likely to die from bacterial or viral infection like the common cold or cytomegalovirus.
My child is always going to be autistic. He sacrificed his life for all you ignorant parents.. Just because he didn't suffer from seizures, die, or get mental retardation doesn't mean that the vaccines had nothing to do with it.
There are so much crap like formaldehyde and aluminum that it can cause autism. Why don't you tell MY son where his mercury toxicity came from. The government has been lying to us. The Senate recently said the FDA and CDC are both guilty of misleading the public about the safety of vaccines. The recent study that said vaccines had nothing to do with autism was not conducted on ANY disabled kids.

If your son was born healthy, was not born with any primary immunodeficiency condition then get the shots. I have never had shots, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, TB, nothing except the flu vaccination and Pneumovax. I am now 49 and would love to visit Africa, Egypt, India, and other places in the global village. However I was born with a immunodeficiency, spent more time ill than at school, erupted in Psoriasis at 16 and then succumbed to Arthritis at 21. This is termed autoimmune phenomena and I have just crawled out of a wheelchair for the second time in my life. Now while I am happy to be alive, my life is restricted and I am open to all infections. The kids next door got the chicken pox and I had to stop playing with them. I cannot risk going to a Bar, getting on a aircraft, going to places that are crowded, as the chances are I will contract some infection. So what ever YOU the Parent decide, just remember your son will have many more opportunities in life than you. Just say he wants to be a Astronaut, passes all the exams, does the training and then HE finds out he was not vaccinated, so NASA say 'Ops Sorry, no space visit for you' will you be willing to take the blame because he will be looking at you, his Parents! Good Luck.

Definitely the autism is a bigger risk. The diseases covered by the MMR shot are very rarely fatal and in most cases are actually relatively mild (medically speaking), they are generally quite comparable to the seasonal flu. However, autism is lifelong disability, essentially government brain-fry. The government doesn't care what is happening to kids from these shots because they are getting paid off by pharmacutical companies

There is scientific evidence proving that vaccinations do not cause autism, but there are still many reasons to not vaccinate or delay vaccines.

I know a family twins who have autism. Neither were vaccinated. One is autistic and the other is not.

If your child has ANY adverse reaction to any vaccination, he is susceptible to autism if the shot is given between the ages of fourteen months and twenty-seven months. In fact, ANY trauma during that period puts a child at risk for autism.

However, any childhood illness also makes a young child at risk to develop autism. I think it is an established fact that in the long run the chances of an adverse reaction to vaccination are far less than the chances of getting a traumatic illness in an unvaccinated child.

There's nothing wrong with delaying the shots at all (spreading them out over time) but not doing them at all isn't a smart move at all. Most doctors will spread them out if you want.

But there is no link at all between Autism and Vaccinations.

Scientists have gone over and over this, and the folks who have autisitc kids need someone to take issue with, and they blame immunizations. But there is no scientific backing at all that this is the case. There are plenty of kids who do not get shots and end up autistic.

Many schools will not allow any child who does not have every single immunization. If you want, see what your specific school requires and only get those.
