cranberry juice normally cures it?

Make sure you drink lots of water as well its a simple thing but along with cranberry juice, you need to keep flushing out your system. Try not to use any scented products when washing down below as this can aggrevate and make sure your underwear contains mainly cotton and not synthetics. It might not be the sexiest thing to wear but comfort outweighs that everytime.
If it persists ask your GP and see if they can check you out you may need a dose of antibiotics to clear up an infection.

2 answers, first cranberry juice has recently been shown to be little better than any other fluid in reducing symptoms.

Second, If you are getting recurrent problems, it is possible that without antibiotics your infection is reducing and then flaring up again as it has not really been treated. The other possibility is that it is a series of individual infections due to an underlying anatomical problem such as bladder reflux. Either way I would have a chat with your GP who should investigate.

Thankfully I never had Cystitis, however my Mother did and it was frequent. The answer we found out was the fabric conditioner, so she stopped putting under garments in the wash with other items of clothing and when she did wash the undergarments, she never used fabric conditioner or scented laundry powder!
