seeing how this is your second time trying, whatever you did last time, didn't really work. it's hard when someone so close is seeming to "sabotage your efforts" but they are not forcing you to eat anything.... here's a few things that you can try.
Keep a journal, write down everything that you put in your mouth, food, water, juice, everything. Also (something that helped me) write down how you feel in the following hours after you eat the food, this is how i learned that certain foods that i loved actually gave me headaches, or gassy. This way in about a week you can see EXACTLY what you are eating.
Find alternatives. Most people can't quit cold turkey, so find healthier things that you can eat that will satisfy. instead of cold stone, try frozen yogurt.
Eat more :) - Usually we tend to go for the sweet stuff because our blood sugar is low... we grab the sugar, our blood sugar spikes, and then crashes lower than where we started. the problem is this is a revolving door. so try to eat smaller portions with more frequency. i.e. every 2-3 hours.
MODERATION, it's ok to cheat every once in a while, just dont go overboard, have in your mind a limit before you start. i.e. instead of getting the super large size, get the small size.
Dont beat yourself up over it, it's an up hill battle and as long as you are going in the right direction, you'll get where you want to be.

I have a crazy sweet tooth so I know how you feel. I've done weight watchers and you know you can have sweets in moderation, so don't limit all sweets. I've tried that and for a person with major sweet obsession its no walk in the park. Plus, life is for the living and you don't want to completely get rid of all the yummy things you like. It takes time and will power to eat in moderation but Weight Watchers teaches you that. A craving for something lasts about 15 minutes when you know that you know it wont last forever. Learning to eat sweets moderately has been hard but not impossible. If for example you've had something sweet then you have to remind yourself that you've had enough for the day and try and focus on some thing else. Try sugar free products such as jello, pudding or a scoop of ice cream; fruits, a hand full of chocolate covered raisins, light yogurt or even a weight watchers dessert. Good Luck, you can do anything you put your mind to.

Isn't the whole point of the Weight Watchers system to be able to eat the things that you love, in moderation? Those things have a point value, right? So if your hubby brings donuts home (and I sympathize; I have one of those hubbies, too), then you calculate the point value of the donut and deduct that from your available points, right? You may have to forgo soda with lunch or something, but it should be doable.

weight watchers has several frozen desserts at the supermarket. just make sure you stick to your points. they also have candies made by Whitman. they're a point or 2 each. just stick to your points. you don't have to give up foods you want because you're on a diet. just don't overdo.
