It true that (almost) everybody has a left hand and right hand. However only about 10% of people are left hand dominant. Meaning the write and or draw with their left had. It used to be trained out of people by making them use their right hand. But it is slowly changing and there are left-handed tools being made and sold.

It's due to right-brain vs. left-brain dominance. The left brain is more dominant is most people (right handed people), being the more logical side of the brain (that's worded badly, I think, but you get what I'm saying). The right brain is more intuitive and people tend to use that less.
Are you a righty or a lefty, Dave?

It's a right handed world. When I was young I was left handed and I changed myself because the school desks were designed for right handed people.

That would be a question that should be thoroughly researched but it is down to the parts of the brain being responsible for actions.
The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body.
Perhaps lefthanders have a different linkage in their neural pathways.
That's my view anyway.

I know lots of terrific lefties besides me including my daughter & mom. My mom's hand was tied behind her so she was forced to use her right hand at school. She became ambidextrous.
