They are not Americans. They are illegal every way you put it. Why should we bend the rules for them? And if they really wanna be "Americans", then they need to follow the laws.

All illegals think they should stay. It and the Anti-American DREAM ACT entitlement program is what they demand as part of manipulating our government. They're succeeding since I don't see them going HOME!

If Hillary Clinton had her way, each Anchor Baby would all be given $5 K as she rolls out the welcome mat for 30 million more!

If all you've ever known is disrespect for the host country and its laws, of course you are not going to change that view.

It's a sad deal for the kids, but the laws are clear. Steps have to be taken to gain citizenship and all the perks that go with that. It's easier to try to cut corners and hope you never get caught. This is the general mindset of most illegal immigrants.
If a person respects the USA and believes a better life is available here, then they must choose to obide by the laws.

They haven't been raised properly...obviously. Rules and laws didn't mean much to their parents and most likely don't to them either. Plus, it's not their fault. lol...I can't help it. In all actuality, it isn't but that doesn't change the laws and the fact that their parents broke them and forced them to do the same. It's an unfortunate way to learn a lesson but it simply is what it is. They really need to understand that the blame is all on their parents and an entire country cannot re-structure itself to accomodate victims of very poor parenting.

Why do white Americans whose great grandparents stole the land from the Native population think they should be able to stay in the US? Hypocrites

Exactly, they are illegal, sorry, blame your parents. I think this is a perfect analogy

When I am 1, my parents embezzle 10 million dollars and we live in a nice house, with nice cars for 18 years, when I am 18 and about to go to college my parents are arrested and we lose everything. Should I be able to keep the money and the house and cars? No, did I do anything wrong? No, but that is life, sometimes unfair things happen, I would be penalized for something my parents did, but get over it.

Well, if I may,

If you were brought over here as a child, with no say in the matter, grew up here and America was the only home you ever really knew, wouldn't you want to stay? especially given the alternative.

Everyone twists everything to their own benefit.

If I do something wrong, it's because the circumstances conspired against me. If you do something wrong, it's because you are of poor character.

If I do something right, I am skilled/smart/ talented/intelligent. If you do something right, you are just lucky is all.

Because they don't accept the fact that the sins of the fathers truly are visited upon the children.

So parents--make good choices.

Because they want what they want...just as their parents wanted what they wanted. They didn't care that they were breaking laws. They don't care that they hurt other people. They don't care that they hurt immigration chances for people around the world. They still don't care. Just GIMMEE GIMMEE GIMMEE. They are definitely "it's all about me" kind of people.
