my husband has a couple of different ones, the main difference i've ever seen is the size. i would say, just get what you can afford and the size you want. i wouldn't go for something that is designed to be more 'for fun' but i would get a regular wacom tablet that is more for regular use. yes you can draw and paint with them, they have a pen that you can move around on the tablet and that corresponds to the screen.

Yes, there will be a pretty good difference between the two cards. The Radeon HD 5670 is from a newer series so it'll perform better than it's older counterpart. You can look up benchmarks and reviews for more information. 4 GB of RAM is plenty. Games usually only take up 1 GB of RAM or maybe 1.5 GB if it's a really intense game. Windows 7 and all of its background programs usually only take up around 1 GB. So, if you're just playing a game, the most RAM you'd end up using is 2.5 GB. 4 GB of RAM gives you plenty of headroom if you want to run other things while you're playing games like an internet browser. 8 GB will give you more room to multitask and have multiple programs running at once, but you'll probably never use it since 4 GB is already plenty. So, unless you really really like to multitask a lot, I'd go with the 4 GB of RAM and a better graphics card. My desktop which has a Radeon HD 4890 only has 4 GB of RAM.

Yes, it's good to have one of these, especially if you like to work with graphics and pictures. I bought the Wacom Intous 3, 4x6 and it comes with Adobe photoshop elements 4, Corel, Painter Essentials 3 and Nik Color efex Pro and is only $229.95.
