And lets assume this "devil" is successful in recruiting as many "human followers" he wants, is he so oblivious to the obvious fact that God cannot be beaten? if satan knows this then why does he continue what he does. if he does not know this he is either SERIOUSLY onto something or he is the greatest fool [which i think he is not... at leats according to what i read in the bible].... my point here is that none of all this makes enough sense for such intelligent beings like us to believe in so wholeheartedly.

Yes, absolutely, they were not invisible though, they were human giants from the sky from another planet according to the Sumerian Tablets that were written 5 to 6 thousand years ago,They also speak of Noah and the flood, both before and after it. Lots and of teachings in the Old Testament references including the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible called the giants the sons of God, not invisible spirits. "And when the sons of God looked upon the daughters of men and found them to be compatible they took them for wives and giants were born in the land. Spirits can not have sex with a woman. The Bible even speaks of a giant called Og. His bed measured 16 feet long and 13 feet wide, or was it cubics? Pretty large fellow don't you think? Don't forget
David and Goliath, he was defiantly called a giant. David killed him with 5 stones If I remember correctly. Haven't read the bible for nearly 30 yrs, so some of it I have forgotten as for as facts. As far as the devil, go look in the mirror, that's the only devil you will ever see, he lives in the heart of man.

No. God is not a man, nor is He invisible except to those who refuse to see. And satan is not a red-horned devil.
If you believed in satan you would know exactly what he would love to achieve.....blinding us to the truth.
Sounds like he doesn't have to work too hard on you.
The demon Screwtape to his nephew, with instructions on how to deal with humans:
"Thanks to processes which we set at work in them centuries ago, they find it all but impossible to believe in the unfamiliar while the familiar is before their eyes. Keep pressing home on him the ordinariness of things. Above all, do not
attempt to use science (I mean, the real sciences)
as a defence against Christianity. They will
positively encourage him to think about realities
he can't touch and see. There have been sad
cases among the modern physicists. If he must
dabble in science, keep him on economics and
sociology; don't let him get away from that
invaluable "real life". But the best of all is to
let him read no science but to give him a
grand general idea that he knows it all and
that everything he happens to have picked up
in casual talk and reading is "the results of
modern investigation".

He is not a giant invisible man in the sky. He is everything and anything. We are made in the image of God. We are not invisible. Everyone says heaven is in the sky, but i dont think it is. I cannot explain where it is, but we have flown in the sky and you dont see God waving to us. The devil does not cause you misfortune. He tries to take you away from the path to God. He gives you temptations that draw you farther and farther from God. He does not thwart your goals except for the one to reach God. You are very wrong on many things here.

Yes Sir, I do.
After you get Saved, Hopefully you will Grow in the Spirit Enough where GOD can use you to Help Other's Get-Saved.
satan tries to keep GOD's Children "Out of the Way" of his schemes.
Either Kill you and send you to Heaven Early.
or Persecute you and Keep you from Growing in Grace to a Point where you would be Effective for GOD to Help Other's Spiritually.
So on.
Satan is an angel gone Insane.
he is not a Human Being.
satan Hates All Human Beings,
Period.

How do you like working for the guy downstairs.......
and........how do you know your really not.
Say it is true, say there is truly a God and the Devil, what side are you sounding like your working for?
See to me this just shows me proof day after day reading this kind of sh*t on here. I say sh*t because I'd like to know why it is you people that do write this kind of crap why you seem to get so much gradification from stirring up sh*t with those who choose to believe that there is a God. You can't leave it alone can ya.........why is that anyway......something or someone driving you to say it.................and how do you really know there isn't! So why not cut your losses now and just shut the hell up about it!

I believe in God but I do not really know what He looks like or if He is in fact giant or not. I am pretty certain that satan does not have horns or a pitchfork and I am pretty certain that most misfortune stems from freewill or absence of God as opposed to satanic interference. Good question though.

Giant invisible man? No. 'God is not a man to lie.' You would know that if you bothered to read the Book He wrote.

I believe that somewhere out there is a force greater than human consciousness. I don't believe it's a guy in a white robe, sitting on a cloud, who only votes Republican.

Why not, they made-up Santa Claus and the elves!
It has not lead me to do evil nor does it teach wrong doing. If it is wrong to believe, I don't want to be right! I enjoy the unknown and all it's mystery I am purged and can think clearer!
If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it, is my motto I stand by.
