Of course you can. We have a thing called an all-volunteer military. No one forces you to sign up. Therefore, when you do, you gotta do what they say.

Thats old news, the military doesn't go by that anymore. Hell they are even sending single parents and dual military spouses to combat. Oh well though, we need them all over there, and thats our job, to deploy to war.

THAT WAS BECAUSE OF THE BROTHERS THAT WERE ALL IN THE NAVY ON THE SAME SHIP THAT WENT DOWN,, THEY ALL DIED,, YOU SHOULD ASK A RECRUITER, THE POLICIES HAVE CHANGED,, WHEN I WENT IN THE MARINES IN THE 70S YOU DIDNT HAVE TO GO

Yes you can go to combat. But if that soldiers says he doesn't want to go then the military can not send him. It is the soldiers choice
