I find it disgusting...and utterly none of my business.
I also am disgusted by sex between fat people, old people, and my parents.
I recognize that the fact that I'm disgusted by something does not make it wrong.

Ummm....homosexuality isn't new......it's been going on for a long time. They just didn't get married that's all. Read stuff written by Pliny and alot of those guys from back then. If you lived then you would want your little boy(9) to go to a prominent family especially if you are poor or aren't as well known in society and he would stay with them - the man until he was 15 and was ready for the world. Grown men were allowed to do certain sexual things with the boys and the wives of the men would be with each other too because they were mostly neglected and only married for their prestige, money, etc.. Men who were initiated in this type of society commonly would have sex with one another also. So it's been going on during and before the bible times and was common and not unusual. HOWEVER, please note the bible does clearly state it is wrong as are other sins.
Added: I know this may sound like I think it's right - having sex with boys is disgusting. I am not saying it's right. What I am saying is judging from some of the writing of that time It didn't seem like anyone was shocked that it was going on. But please understand these were also prominent people taking advantage (in my opinion) of poor less prominent people of the community. A wonderful society it was not.
Keke T I agree with you and Vee if it really truly came from God I would have to obey. But it would have to be something like what is described in Exodus 33 for me to truly believe it was God.Otherwise I would have to think it was an evil spirit speaking to me.

The whole subject is just overblown by the Christians. The fact of the matter is that both the Greek and Roman cultures openly practiced homosexuality and it didn't have a negative effect on either one of those cultures it may have even helped them achieve their greatness. Sexually open societies also tend to be intellectually open societies and that usually has a positive benefit on society.
Quite honestly I think that the Christian view of sex reads like it was written by a bunch of misogynistic idealistic virgin 14 year old boys who condemned the things that they didn't understand or that scared them .
The Kama Sutra on the other hand was clearly written by adults who both understood and accepted the reality of adult sex.
Bring on the thumbs !!!

You are right they should not be discriminated.
Homosexuals have the right to live their lives to a certain extent that they do not sin against God. The act or same-sex sex for that matter is wrong and against Gods will.
They should try their best to abstain from homosexual relationships. Homosexuals in our church are active in their respective ministry. They serve the music ministry, some even teach sunday school. It's really about living according to God's purpose.
Let us try and look at what they could become. A servant for the Lord.

Pretty close to yours I think.
I think homosexuality is a sin, but I'm not the sin police...if I was, the first person I would need to arrest is myself. We're all tempted to do things that go against God's plan for us...we all face temptations to do things that can harm ourselves and/or harm other people and we all make bad decisions about how to handle those temptations.
I have friends that are homosexual and if they choose to ask my opinion or discuss the topic around me, I tell them that I think they are making a bad decision to act on their attraction to the same sex...by the same token, many of my friends tell me about the dangers of smoking and point out other mistakes I make that they think will hurt me (or someone else).

there is a Scripture that relates to this.
If you saved your brother from error, you will save him from a multitude of sins.
I find many Christians who are will not stand up for the Truth. If God says this is wrong, we must deter from this. We must hate what God hates, and love what He loves. His desire is for all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30) If we are not living in the Truth, how can anyone see Him.
Examine yourself in the faith, test yourself, unless you fail the test (1 Cor 14:6, I think)
A spiritual person will discern, or properly judge, all things. If you know this is wrong, but agree with their lifestyle, you become a friend of the world, which is also an enemy of God.
How bad do you want them to see that what the Truth sets free is free indeed? or do you prefer they live in their bondage?
How much do you truly love them? If you show them the Truth, who will? who will....

It makes absolutely no difference to me. What consenting adults do in their own homes is their business.
It must be a very hard way to live though. It's very hard for homosexuals to be validated, so "taboo" is their sexuality. I really wish people would concern themselves with things that really matter, like WAR or poverty.
Instead we have politicians building their careers on what someone is doing in their own bedroom. Some of these same politicians we find being arrested in sex stings in public bathrooms.
I wish everyone would just mind their own business about the matter.
Peace.

read also in romans.there is a spirit behind that and for that reason I am not in close relations with them. the bible saids to come off from among them. we are new creatures when you become save ,all things become new.get more into your word he will reveal the truth to you.the bible teaches of a renewing of the mind, and not having a carnal mind a carnal mind is wordly.some of your point of views seems wordly and not spiritual.we all are to strive to have the mind of christ and not the world.the carnal mind is at war with the spiritual mind,a carnal mind can not please God.

Love the sinner, hate the sin.
Homosexual sex is an abomination to the Lord. I have no fear of talking to homosexuals about the sin of homosexual activity in a charitable way. (*note that I said "homosexual activity" and not "homosexuality".) He/she may listen and in so doing I will plant the seed of truth. That's about all I can do. When speaking to gays, I often use alcoholism as an analogy. I tell them an alcoholic has to make a choice:
1) They can say "God made me this way so it must be okay to get drunk"
or
2) I know I'm alcoholic, I know drunkeness is a sin, so I need to check myself.
I apply that same logic to homosexuals: Recognize the wrongness of the activity and don't give in to your weakness. I don't hate homosexuals, just like I hope nobody hates alcoholics. We're all sinners, and we all have particular weakness to a particular sin. The key is to be the master of your weakness and overcome it, and don't buy into the lies of modern society or political-correctness.
I invite you to learn about "Courage" - http://couragerc.net/
"Courage" is an apostolate of the Catholic Church and ministers to those with same-sex attractions and their loved ones. You'll never hear about it in the mainstream media: They have many success stories of people overcoming their same-sex atraction issues, and sometimes even getting married to fellow members of he opposite sex. They are amazing stories - stories which prove wrong the notion that you are just born that way and there is nothing you can do about it.

So as long as your spouse, mother, father, boyfriend, girlfriend, son, or daughter, doctor, pastor, policeman and childs teacher is nice and tells good jokes, smiles, is kind to you, never says a hurtful word and brings home the bacon, it is ok with you if they cheat on you, rapes others, has sex with children, dogs and cows. Steals from people who has more then you do and then says "I didn't do it"?
As long as they are a good person right, it does not matter what else they do right?

The Bible is very clear that homosexual acts are a sin. Gays who call themselves Christians often quote Matthew 8:5-13 as "proof" that Jesus didn't condemn homosexuality. HOWEVER, we are to love everyone. A sin does not make someone unloveable...if it did, we'd all hate each other.
In this passage, a centurian came to Jesus asking Jesus to heal his servant. The gay community says that the original greek word used here for servant is "pais", the same word used to refer to a same-sex partner.
"...the same Greek word – pais – is used in Matthew 2:16 to refer to the male children Herod executed when trying to end the life of baby Jesus. Since there is probably some innuendo somewhere in Classical Greek (different from NT Greek mind you) that could loosely translate pias as “same sex partner” it follows that Herod went on a crusade against his former gay lovers when he found out when Jesus was born. Or in Matthew 22:15 where the “children” are shouting “Hosanna!” it obviously means that Jesus’ boy-lovers are cheering him on. Things get a little confusing though in Luke 8:51 where he heals a “girl.” Maybe we can find a translation of the word “heals” that means “sexually touched” and affirm pedophilia? "
