Some attribute this to Mahatma Gandhi. He must have learned it from a Christian friend. You see. The Book of Jude was written around 65 C.E.

Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Verse 21, Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the ((love of God,))--- loving the sinner.

Verse 23, ((hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.))---
hating the sin.

Truth and seniority have dominant position.

So many ppl are always giving someone else the credit for Bible words, saying IT STARTED WITH THIS PERSON FIRST. NO NO NONO>
All started originally of God. And He created words and things, He created everything. YOu say DID HE CREATE THE EVIL???? NO. PPL take good things of God and turn them into evil sometimes, but God didnt make evil. Tho He gave us all CHOICE. So ppl can choose Gods ways or evil ways of the devil.
God is the one that wrote to hate the sin and love the sinner. To give another mere man or woman credit for saying these things is sheer blasphemy. We must repent of these things, as its very serious, to give somene else credit for what God does. Just like when someone watches a healing and then says I BET THE DEVIL DID THAT< AS THAT MAN WASNT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE HEALED>... same thing applies here.
To give the devil credit for something God has done is sheer blasphemy. WE need to take our words seriously, as God created the world in WORDS> He spoke the world into existence, and unless we know the power of words, we will always be putting ourselves in harms way, and be led into further darkness.
Hate the sin, and point it out to a fellow brother and sister in love, but boldness. We dont tiptoe about sin, nor did Jesus Christ. speak it, then pray and elave the rest to God, while we continue to love that person, forgive them, and not giving them up Encourage them, love on them, while not tolerateing their sin. IF they wont turn from it, God says to leave them alone and keep on praying. Mahatma Gandhi didnt originate this .. it was written long before.. LONG BEFORE>>
LEts give GOd the credit for the things that are due Him and stop the nonsense of giving others credit for the things of God.

God got here to earth and died so as that sins might want to be forgiven. He did that because He loves the sinners. yet, the Bible is sparkling that God hates sin (as you would anticipate in the adventure that they were nailing you to a pass for them). those who trust that Jesus become all-loving look to ignore that he's an same God because the wrathful God defined in some element contained in the former testomony. the finished Bible is the written revelation of God to guy. Ignoring the wrathful nature of God is a extreme mistakes. asserting that the absence of the phraseology contained in the Bible exhibits that the idea isn't contained in the Bible is clearly no longer actual and is a quite obvious lapse in good judgment. Why might want to God opt for to forgive something He does no longer hate besides?

Amen Brother Newman !!!
God loves everyone.
Jesus died for Everyone.
We're told to come as we are.
If we wait until we're good enough to come to Jesus, that won't happen.
Our righteousness Is as filthy rags.
It Is only through the shedding of Jesus' blood are we washed white as snow. But we have to receive the sacrifice Jesus made. Meaning we have to ask Jesus Into our heart and recognizing that we're a sinner,as all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. Let Him Be our Lord & Savior. TIme Is short.
Redeem the time,as the days are evil..
Jesus Is coming...Are you ready ?

Amen! Put the credit where it belongs. Rarely does this world actually give God the credit for His works.
