People need to stop asking this. Of course we still celebrate Christmas. It's a time to spend with loved ones, give and recieve presents, get time off work, and eat a bunch of delicious food! Why would I not celebrate it?! I just don't celebrate the "Christ" part of Christmas. It's barely Christmas anymore anyways. Kids are now taught to believe in Santa Claus, not Jesus and God, and that's what Christmas is about to a lot of people.

It doesn't matter when Jesus was born.
On Christmas, we celebrate the fact that he WAS born.
I know I think about Jesus a lot during Christmastime,
but I do focus more on giving & receiving presents.
Still, I don't think the religious factor should be taken away.

I celebrate Christmas because is a day you spend with all your families exchanging gifts, smiles, laughter, and happiness. I commemorate Jesus death more than celebrating his birth, because he command us to remember his sacrifice for mankind.

Show me in the Bible where it says Jesus Christ was born on December 25th....

In all honesty, xmas is a mish-mash of a bunch of religious traditions, not all of them christian.

Xmas has strong pagan and norse roots....look it up....Origins of Christmas...do a google search....

In all honestly, I celebrate the spirit of giving on that day. I would be lying if I said otherwise.

december 25 was actually the roman holiday of the birth of Sol Invictus (invincible sun)
It was adopted as the birth of Jesus (the SON god) when christians took over the roman empire thanks to constantine, it was used to convert more "pagan sun worshippers" into christians...same thing with easter.
