I'm a receptionist and on the weekend there's pretty much nothing to do!! What do you guys do at work to entertain yourselves? Any websites or anything you visit? Thanks!

Game websites are blocked on my work computer, but reading is allowed. I find when i'm reading I get distracted and I read the same page over a few times, so its not too fun.

Use the time to plan your future. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life as a receptionist? If not, plan something else.
Do a crossword puzzle - it will improve your mind.
Figure out how to re-organize your closets...with paper and pen.
Plan your holiday menus....shopping lists.
Make your gift shopping lists for the holidays.
Do isometric excercises.
Write something about yourself and your family...favorite vacation, meals, holidays, adventures.
Start a daily journal.
Plan your upcoming week.
Read a book of short stories or poems. They don't take long-term concentration like a novel does.

almost everything at my work is blocked too, and it makes it hard to find anything to keep you from being bored. some things that aren't blocked are:
wikipedia (you can always search for something on there, and sometimes they have TV shows too, like LOST)
or I do an "image" search on google, to look for pics of stuff, sometimes you can get lucky and the sites you click on with the pic attached is not blocked...
the news is never blocked, and i have found you can do a crossword puzzle on those sometimes. www.tucson.com, that crossword is fun...
all the shopping, radio, etc websites are blocked too... but i guess that gives you some ideas.

Get yourself crossword/puzzle books. When someone comes in you can lay it down. If you do any needle work, that is something you can take and lay down when you are busy. Some read books, but then if you are like me I get to into it, and don't pay any attention to what is going on around me. Find something you enjoy on the internet and look up the different sites you can visit.

Is reading alowed? I used to work security in a bank 12 hours a day and I just would sit or stand all day. My job was to be seen. I read a lot and that was okay as long as I knew what was going on inside the bank.

When I had that kind of job I played on MSN games. Most of those have a pause button for when you need to take a call. Or you could read a book.

You can listen to songs....YouTube is great for watching short clips. You can watch full length movies and tv shows at www.alluc.org or www.watchtvsitcoms.com all for freeeee. Or you can do crossword puzzles.

nicely.... many consult with motorbikes (motorcycles) as Iron horses. i might have a complicated time picking between a quickly motorcycle and a stay, quickly horse. automobiles are too confining.
