Okay, i have nothing against women. but i do not want to put my life in the hands of a woman who is in hand to hand combat, when the guy fighting her has a 60% more chance of winning.
questions:
1.Do you bealeve Women should be aloud in the military?
2. do you bealeve they should be restricted to certain roles?
3.Why the hell in Basic Training i got 10 seconds in the shower and women got 10 minutes? I think that is screw'd.
4.don't you think there's something weird having a female officer in command of you? i mean seriously, geting yelled at by a woman just doesnt have the touch if it was a male sergeant. I mean, They sound like girls(pun). They scream like em. and they are certainly weaker then me. don't get me wrong, There are smart women out there.
I bealeve that The solution to the women question is restricted roles, and entire Female divisions. wich would lower rape, Abuse etc.
gotta remember, we carry 60-90 pounds. physicaly we are 60% better then women.

I stated my oppinion, And stated questions.
Either you answer the questions, and state your oppinions. or don't post. don't slam someone's oppinions. because of how they think differently. If you can't accept that people think differently then you, then you shouldn't post here. otherwise i will report abuse.

in reponse to answer's such as saying i can be killed by a female soldiers in seconds. and shooting score. i have you beat there 40/40 targets. in the German army Women get 10 minutes because they need time to change tampons and do girl stuff. No guts to ask them about they're period.
furthermore, i am trained in close combat, Tae-kwon-do and Others, i am a candidate for the KSK(Kommando spezialkrafte, german special forces) I am a non-commissioned officer, i am highly trained. I am certainly more trained then the Average Female out of boot camp, or male for that matter. i'm not stating that i am against women in the military, i just think its impossible for women to stop and change a tampon, or lose a squad due to lack of strength. I am not questioning the Cranial Development of women. i am fully aware of the capabilities of my Female counterparts and Officers.

oh right, and max time in the shower's i was allowed to have was 10 seconds. we don't get 'break time' like they do in other armies. we have one of the most stressing boot-camps in the world.

1. Yes women should be allowed in the military.
2. Yes women should be restricted to role other than front lines, the same as it is now.
3. I NEVER got a 10 minute shower at Basic so I don't know what you are talking about, we had 6 shower heads, 30 girls, that's an average of 5 girls trying to share 1 shower head with horrible water pressure and not enough time to get clean. We got maybe 3-4 minutes, 5 at the most, but even 5 minutes isn't very long when you're sharing with 4 other girls.
4. I'm confused because you say you don't like having female officer in command of you, but then you go on to say they don't have the same touch as male sergeant. SO are we talking about enlisted or commissioned? Regardless, I had a male MTI, our brother flight had a female MTI. (There are some scary women MTI's out there that are really butch)
5. Your solution is entire Female divisions, so what we would file your paperwork for you and answer the phones? This is the 21st century. Women do men jobs and men do women jobs. There are plenty of women mechanics and male nurses.
6. I had to do a lift test before I joined to ensure I could lift a certain weight that was required for my job. I work in a shop where I am the only female, and let me tell you I carry my own weight. When we're moving our equipment around (150-350lbs boxes) I carry my end they carry theirs. So I can hold my own in my career field. Yes, men are made different physically than women, and they have different strengths, but not every man I have ever met in the military is 60% better physically than me that is for dang sure.

I served in the Air Force. The only time I took a 10 minute shower was when I was in medical hold, after I broke my foot.
I think women in hand-to-hand combat roles should be evaluated on an individual basis.
I have never yelled like a girl. I used to have to march mixed groups of both genders around Lackland, and my command voice certainly wasn't "girly."
As for weaker, there were certainy boys in my brother flight who I could've snuffed out easily. We get taught the same tactics you do, buddy.
As far as an all-female division goes... my field (intelligence) is male-dominated.
And I can certainly carry 60-90 lbs on my back.

Alright, big guy. I b-e-l-i-e-v-e you need to hit the spell check button before you submit a question about whether or not women should be a-l-l-o-w-e-d to serve in the military. Besides, if you're even asking this question, then you are clearly in a non-combative MOS that has female soldiers assigned to it, and are probably not kicking in as many doors as those of us who are combat arms.
Not taking anything away from you, though, I'll say this...
1. Women actually handle stress better than men do, they just deal with it differently.
2. They had to qualify with their rifle with the same score as you.
3. Quit exagerating. Men don't shower until personal time just like the females while in basic. If you took a 10 second shower it's because you wanted to.
4. If you don't want to serve with females then all you have to do is reclass to 11 series or 13 series and your troubles will be over. I find it unfair that you would attempt to demoralize female soldiers trying to serve their country by submitting this question. They wear the same uniform you do.

I think you need to rethink your position.
1. I served 8 years in the Army. My mom served in Vietnam.
2. Women shouldn't be in combat (front lines) in my opinion.
3. I didn't get 10 minutes I remember having to share the stall and was lucky to get a minute myself.
4. Females are better in command than some males. It is a job (how do you feel about that in the civilian side)? I know some females in the 160th that would be able to kill you in a matter of seconds.
I can easily carry that much weight around. I used to be one of the first people in overall when we did our road marches. If you separate males and females rapes, etc would still happen.
I say men and women have different advantages but men are not always 60% better. I think you need to come out of the '50s era and join the rest of the world.
As far as stopping to change tampons etc. sorry to say but you can take stuff so you don't have a monthly friend. I'm sure I could still take you hand to hand anyday.

You, apparently, are a misogynist.
I can't recall a 10 minute shower, ever, in boot camp.
You pulled 60% out of your butt.
I don't care who commands me, so long as they do it well. I don't care who I lead, as long as they listen. Do you have a problem with all authority, or just women? Does it hurt your machismo that a woman could have made rank faster than you? Your mom never yelled at you and that's why you can't deal with a woman in charge?
I believe there should be a spelling test to get into the military, then there'd be at least one less misogynist in my military.
---So you're foreign and that means you don't need to use spell check? I'm fluent in 3 languages and still use spell check when I type.

The only restriction I would place on women is front line combat roles. Other than that, they should be allowed to do whatever they want and are capable of. Should we only allow men who can carry 90 pounds, that would cut out a lot of capable men. Most of us also had mothers, if yours didn't mean as much as your father when she yelled at you, you were spoiled.
Grow up, a man can take orders from any leader. If the female officer is not a good leader that's one thing, but its not due to her sex.

I think that women should be allowed in the military just not doing combat roles like it is now. I don't know where you heard the shower thing but women sure as heck don't get enough time to shower just like men. I'm working to become an officer in the Marine Corps and I think that if you have a women in command you shouldn't look at their gender or race but how they lead.
p.s I don't like your opinion but thats just my opinion.

I think women have just as much as a right to be in the military (similary for gays as well), HOWEVER, like you said, there are certain roles they should not be in - one where you might have to rely on someone's physical atributes comes to mind, and yea, in boot camp too.
I'll go with ya on the all female divisions idea.
When I was in boot I didn't have a female instructor, because I think they just drilled the girls.

"Okay, i have nothing against women. but i do not want to put my life in the hands of a woman who is in hand to hand combat, when the guy fighting her has a 60% more chance of winning."
Says it all, big macho guy afraid he will be shown up by a woman.
If she has the rank she earned it and you are required to respect that.
The days of total male domination over women are long gone.
The Israeli Defense Forces have more women military trainers than men and they do a fantastic job and earn the respect of their male military colleagues with no problem.
I also lived in Bavaria for 5 years and had quite a few friends in the Bundswehr, what you claim about boot-camp don't match up to what they told me, you sound like a typical conscript whiner, zip it and do your 18 months like a man.
And you are anally retentive with regards the subject of Tampons, let me guess only boy in a house full of girls?Ã. We carried the old style ones in our belt kit for packing gun-shot entry and exit wounds and deep shrapnel wounds, far better absorption than the military issue First Field dressing.
