I would like to start handgliding and wondererd where i would start is there any licences? Based in Leicestershire

I have never heard of handgliding and I doubt anyone else here has either.

However, if you want to start hang gliding (as in the over sized kites you hang beneath, hence HANG gliding), there are plenty of people around the U.K. who can teach you.

Look it up on Google.

go on to the google web site and type handgliding in your area, that should be a start for you.

You can find people to teach you anywhere - Europe, Australia, America...the list goes on. Always get lessons first. It's much too dangerous to work it out "on the fly" (pun intended), and much too expensive if you later decide that you don't actually enjoy it.
