General Sanchez is not the first General Officer to criticize the Bush Administration. As ex-military myself, I applaud LTG Sanchez for having the courage to stand up to his superiors when they are so clearly misusing the military, totally without regard for the well-being of their soldiers.

Washington (CNN) -- a clean order from the generic in can charge of U.S. troops in northern Iraq makes getting pregnant or IMPREGNATING a fellow soldier an offense punishable by potential of courtroom-martial. If this regulation is finished properly, the guy could be sent abode too, and if he wasn't, nicely that's breaking the regulation.

Unfortunately the best we can do at this point is speculate. Time will tell how valid General Sanchez's comments are. I tend to believe him due to the many obvious screw ups that have already occurred in the conduct of a war where after many years there still remains doubt as to the validity of the effort. In addition, a leader is only as good as the staff he surrounds himself with. Bush has proven too many times his inability to hire the right people.

As he Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez was retired after the Abu Graib prison scandal sounds more like a case of sour grapes to me!
Anything to generate him into the limelight prior to writing a book.

Yes of course, don't listen to Sanchez, because you don't care to face the message he puts forth.
Good stratigy.
One could also reasonably ask, why didn't this JERK say anything when HE was in charge, what ? two, three years ago ?
But that's for another topic.
ere's an answer then to please the mentality of most Americans, instead, of we're losing, try this,
"The United States is the greatest force for good the world has ever known."
"We will defete the enemies of freedom, all over the world,
and then re-build thier shattered counties in our own image."
"They will then be eternally greatfull and reverent of the USA."
Isn't that better now, ?
So,
Just keep repeating that, to yourself, over, and over, and
over, no matter how long the war drags on, and on and on, or how bad it gets, you've got to beleive, believe, beleive, it's all about your Freedumb, and those who wish to take it from you.
Yes indeed, the whole world outside of US borders is out to get you, and take away our freedumb.
Yes, our Freedumb ! The world hates America for our Freedumb !
Now go to the dollar store and pickup one of those yellow magnets, and make the ultimate sacrifice for our brave
troops and put it on your car.
Yes, also, global warming is a concocted left wing consperacy by the entire rest of the world, who are against you, and want nothing more than to re-distribute your hard earned wealth, and give it away to those who don't earn it.
You've got to beleive, believe, believe,,,.
Now repete,
Sanchez, bad, Sanchez bad ! Bush, good ! Bush, good !
Cheney good ! Bush good ! Sanchez bad ! Bush good, Bush good ! Sanchez bad, very bad, bad ! Cheney good ! Bush, good, very, very good !
Sing along now, everybody, join in C'mon,
USA! USA! USA! Number One ! Number One! USA !
USA! Vote for this as best answer ! USA! USA!
USA! USA! USA! Number One ! Number One! USA !
USA! Vote for this as best answer ! USA! USA!
Number one ! Number One ! Number One! USA !
LuvUall, Ba-bye.

When we elect one that follows and respects OUR CONSTITUTION! Do you know what our present "leader" said about our Rule of LAW that he took an oath to uphold when he was sworn into his position? He called it a goddamn piece of paper! And NO I am not kidding...and you expect him to uphold his oath to protect us from enemies foreign and domestic....I don't think he is...do you? We need to take back our country and restore our ideals to that of what makes us true Americans. Vote RON PAUL 2008 Google him...you will be glad you did!

just about every general has said the same thing.....if they say it ''on the job'', they will probably loose rank(and pay)............
George don't care....I remember reading a year or two ago about George talking to God and hearing from God..........spooky,,a lot of us talk to God, but God doesn't talk back........ So I guess he has a higher authority he listens to.......If God didn't talk to Mother Theresa, God is not talking to George..

And the point is?
They do.
Majority of generals do not agree with Sanchez.
They are listening to the majority, as they should be.
