I have a fool proof solution for Global Warming?

here's my idea...follow me here...
Every time I post some FACTS about the BS that the Global Warming Religon has become, I get attacked personally, intelectually, politically, you name it. The FACTS are clear, the eart is warming at an alarming .025 degrees over the last 120 years...(pass me the sunscreen!) and there is NO...repeat NO, ZERO, NOT ONE link to man whatsoever. Mars is warming at exactly the same rate as earth and as far as I can tell they don't have SUV's there. So...all the Tree Hugging Al Gore worshippers who feel so awful about being human and actually being the top rung of the ladder here on earth should just do us a favor and off themselves. I mean you already want the rest of us to give up everything that makes our lives bearable, just to make YOU happy! You already want to declare CO2 a toxic gas, the trouble is that we exhale it! So...why don't you and Fat Albert Gore and Leo the phony DiCapprio just practice what you preach and hold your breath forever!

The Global Warming Religion:

Scientist are their priests, Politicians are their High Priests. Science is their cannon. Taxes are their tithe. Free market sacrifice is their rite of worship.
College is their church and professors are their prophets.

They are wise in their own eyes. Their pride shall go before their fall.

Global warming is a natural occurance, man is not stopping it or speeding it up. If all the polluting stopped today the earth will still be warming up.

If you think otherwise then please by all means bow down before the alter of science and sacrifice the market, pay your tithes, and accept with blind faith what the priests, high priests, and your prophets say.

I recommend that you refrain from using material that you see published in the popular media and rely on peer reviewed professional scientific literature.


The reason that I recommend that you avoid the popular media is that the popular media is designed to make money by getting your attention, not by providing you with accurate information.


The way the popular media gets your attention is to publish a startling story.


If you are a writer for the popular media, how do you create a startling story?


Make up some so called "facts" of course. The supermarket tabloids do that on a regular basis.


I suspect that the facts and numbers that you are using come from the popular media, because I have not seen them published in the professional scientific literature.


I suspect that the writer of the popular media article that you rely on just made up those numbers to create a startling story to sell more copies of the publication, not provide you with accurate or useful information.


Unfortunately the supermarket tabloids are extraordinarily popular and profitable. The owners of the mainstream media have noticed this and have encouraged their writers to adopt some of the techniques of the supermarket tabloids.


The result has been an enormous amount of misinformation in the popular media on both sides of the issue of Global Warming and Climate Change.


I recommend that you start with the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climat Change) reports. These are peer reviewed professional scientific literature and share the Nobel Peace Prize with Al Gore. Fortunately the IPCC reports are much more reliable than Al Gore.


Yes I know, Al Gore's movie relied on some of the supermarket tabloid techniques and indulged in some inaccurate reporting to create a startling story.


However, the good news is that the IPCC reports are well done and are very accurate.


The IPCC reports are available at any good University library.


If you are not currently a student at a University, I have found that you can often go the library of a University that has the reports.


If you explain that the reports that you need are only available in their library and if you offer to pay a fee to help maintain the library, they will usually grant you access to the library.

Where are your facts that you say you have posted.

The first 'fact' you state is that the Earth has warmed by 0.025 degrees over the last 120 years. In 1887 the average global temp was 13.741°C, in 2007 it is 14.689°C, so it's warmed by 0.945°C - that's nearly 40 times as fast as you claim (70 if you're using Fahrrenheit).

You then claim there is nothing to link global warming to mankind. In that case where is the evidence that proves CO2 and the other greenhouse gases do not retain heat.

Then you go on to say that Mars is warming at exactly the same rate as Earth. I have to assume you've been there personally. The only people I'm aware of who can comment on what's happening on Mars are NASA and they most definitely are not saying the warming is the same rate. By the way, how much have our nearest neighbours the Moon, Venus and Mercury warmed by?

If you have a dictionary look up the word 'toxic', if you still maintain that CO2 isn't toxic then you'll have no qualms about inhaling 100% CO2.

Might be an idea if you got your facts straight.

What is your question?

I don’t have a real opinion on global warming because there are many questions to be answered.

Don't really care to attack you personally but you have just ranted for no reason and with no real information, therefore without being rude I would like to point out that you have misled people with your question title. In my book that makes you a liar. Now my logic dictates that I can't trust you because you obviously lie, therefore there is a possibility of global warming.

So you have just let off a lot of hot air for nothing and possibly raised the earth's temperature by 0.000000001 degrees.

I've been fighting this global warming hysteria nonsense for quite some time. It's exhausting. It has indeed become a religion. And asking someone to give up their religion is about the most difficult thing one can do.

The only solution is to keep trying. Keep saying it over and over, just like the way the religion started, a catastrophic global warming caused be humans is not happening. Eventually somebody will listen.

Not withstanding whatever has been ranted in the question, let us make one thing clear - global warming is a reality - otherwise, why are the glaciers melting so fast?, why are the sea levels rising so fast and gobbling up the earth with increased gale force and height?, why are the seaons so harsh and why are they changing so fast?, why are the hurricanes gaining height?, why? These questions can be answered with one simple answer - Anything that burns utilises oxygen in the atmosphere and after burning, releases carbon dioxide - am I right? Then even the electric bulbs contribute CO2. Have a look at the following and then decided for yourself as to whether we should discipline ourselves now or never.

Earth moves on its latitude. When u find that the deflected solar light is moving elsewhere, just go to the mirror, nudge a little and u can get back your light as before. THIS IS THE BASIC IDEA and once u have done it, u be the Innovator of your light requirements for your home and U-SEE PROVIDES YOU FREE LIGHTING FOR LIFE. Many homes/huts in rural areas in developing countries do not have proper lighting and people are living in dark, damp and dingy environs but urbanites living in concrete jungles in cities with tinted glasses are misusing electricity for their lighting purpose even during day time.
U-SEE the Benefits: ONE incandescent bulb/tubelight burning for 6 hours during day time consumes 7 units of electricity in a month. If half the world can adopt U-SEE and switch off one bulb for 6 hours during day time, how much of electricity can be saved?
