They are - egg whites especially. That's where the protein is. The yolk is just fat. Eggs are the perfect complete protein and have every amino acid your body needs.

Like anything else, eggs are great in moderation.
The white part of the egg is great for you, it's all protein and great for energy without any bad points.
Where eggs get tricky is the yolk. The yolk is basically all cholesterol and fat, so it's not that great for you (but it tastes so yummy!).
So this is why people differ on the subject, half the egg is a "nutrition powerhouse" while the other half is like the black sheep of the family. So if you're eating whole eggs, eat them less often. If you like egg whites, eat them all the time. Here's my trick, when making an omelet I will use 1 whole egg to 3 egg whites, that way I still get the colour and taste of the yolk without having so much fat in my omelet!

Eggs are good because they are a source of protein but you should only take 2 to 3 pcs in a week, enough to supply the proteins you need.

Eggs are a great source of protein, but they are also a big source of cholesterol too. Each egg yolk contains 250 mg of cholesterol. If you're on a low cholesterol diet, then eggs would be a bad choice of food.
I'm on a low cholesterol diet and I make eggs by using only the whites (no cholesterol in the whites).

eggs are good for you unless you are high in cholestrol you shud avoid eating alot or atleast limiting it. in my opinion a normal person shud not eat more than 2 in a day.
