I have a hard time loving my enemies but I've been able to get myself to 'accept' my enemy for what they are without getting emotionally charged about them. Too much waste of energy otherwise.

I don't really have any. Yes, people have done wrong to me but I don't see them as enemies. If someone is you're enemy, how can you love them? If you love them then their not your enemy. I have to admit that people have not done as much wrong as other people have done to others e.g. like how the Israeli government has bombed Palestine.

It is easier to talk about loving our enemies than it is to live it. All I can say is first forgive then try to do our best to love as the Father in Heaven has instructed us to do.

I focus on not making enemies and I've been successful so far. I can honestly say there is no one that I hate, although there are occasionally those who are unpleasant to interact with.

Yes I do. I love them so much I know where they are at all times. I keep them close to me so I know what they are up to.
There are times when you can forgive and forget and then there are times when your very life depends on how well you can protect yourself. If you forget who and what your dealing with you will lose. I can forgive the small stuff, and forget little hurts and bruises to my ego and heart. But if you plan to hurt me or kill me, you better bring some friends and a gun, you can bet I'm packing mine.

It is something that the Lord has instructed us to do. I pray for them. Lately I have prayed for this man to receive a promotion in his job so that he no longer has control over weather or not disabled people under the age of 60 can receive help. The human nature in me wants to hate him. But then that would be returned to me. That is God's law.

This is hard to do. But we must pray for them. God tells us to love our enemies.

Even the people that I really 'hate', I would never do anything to hurt them emotionally or physically. I wouldn't say that I love them though.
Interesting question :)
