I've heard the Lord speak to me on several occasions. The thing is, He doesn't speak to me when I want Him to per se. He speaks to me when He chooses to. So if you are seeking someone who can get a word from the Lord for you I would advise you to ask Him your self since the only words He has given to me for other people were for people who were caught up in their sins while making a profession of faith and they were words of command to repent and be healed or suffer the consequences of continued rebellion.

John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he that doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

It's not a physical voice. It's more mental. Like the person above me said...God uses people or things to get the message across. For example..say last night you prayed about what church you should go to, or what religion you should be, and you asked Jesus to tell you where you should go. The next day you are on your way to work when you hear about a church in your area donating to charity, or doing some other social event. That could be God speaking to you. He does it in many other ways to. That is just an example. He also uses other people to get the message across. Say you prayed to God about what college you should attend...and the next day or later that night you get a brochure in the mail about a spiritual college.

Or another subject...say you are doing something you are not suppose to be doing and you get a horrible guilt feeling in your heart...that is also God communicating with you.

There are many many, ways that God uses to communicate with us. You just have to open your mind and pay attention.

I hope I answered your question.
Good day and God Bless.

True Christians do not hear God speak to them. He does not work this way but through his holy spirit in this time and date.

Who told you this? A false Christian? There are no voices.

Trust.

I think the voice of God is a "small, still voice," as we are told in The Bible.
God uses others to get his message across.
It could be your boss, your spouse, a friend, a co-worker, etc.
Pray about it and listen carefully to those with whom you come into contact.
Someone may give you an answer without even realizing it.
I've had this experience as well.
I won't even have told anyone what is on my mind, and they will say something to me that makes me think about things.
Then the answer just comes to me.

All the best to you!

First of all - it requires intense study of HIS word - almost to a memorization of the Bible.

Then - it requires the ability to "Be still and know that I am God" - to be quiet, alone, away from other people and free from distraction.

Finally - it requires time, patience, good judgment and lots of practice.

The way I know it is the voice of God on my heart instead of something else? If it is in harmony with His word. Anything that seems to conflict with the gospel, is not a message from Him.

I hope that helps.

I think the voice of God the Father is a "small, still voice," as we are told in The Bible.
The voice of God the Holy Ghost is kinda spooky.
The voice of God the Son Jesus Christ is loaded with "I'm telling you the truth" statements so you know who is talking...

Everyone can clearly hear the voice of the Father. However, few will truly listen as they simply do not like what they hear or choose to just ignore it. If you would like me to see if I can help you, I would be glad to do so. If not, I wish you luck and peace in you search for the meaning. But remember, if God is truly speaking to you or placing something on your heart the message could be for you to decipher for yourself.

...FIRST..... you Need to Learn...... HOW TO SPELL...... Discern... " Not = disern?

TRY.... writing your Question or Post..... in MS Word... and then SPELL CHECK..... and then.... POST IT!

Another THING..... As A Christian..... I am TOLD......

(Ephesians 6:9) And masters, do the same things to them, = = forbearing threatening, = = knowing that your Master also is in Heaven. There is no respect of persons with Him.

AND..... You ..." Threaten.... people that are NOT Christians " from Responding to Your Post!

YOU... MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY.... to add their NAMES.... to Pray for Their SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS!

NOW...... To Answer your QUESTION......

IF...... You are Looing for.... A VERBAL SPEAKING..... FROM GOD..... FORGET IT!

GOD..... Speaks to ME..... Each and Every TIME.... I read His Word....!

(1Samuel 3:21) And Jehovah appeared again in Shiloh. For Jehovah revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh = = = by the Word of Jehovah.

AND.....

(Deuteronomy 29:29) The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the revealed things belong to us and to our sons forever, so that we may do all the words of this Law.

AND.....

(Psalms 119:97-to-104) MEM: Oh how I love Your Law! It is my meditation all the day.

(Psa 119:98) Through Your Commandments You make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.

(Psa 119:99) I have more understanding than all my teachers; for Your testimonies are my prayer.

(Psa 119:100) I understand more than the old men, because I keep Your Commandments.

(Psa 119:101) I have kept my feet from every evil way, so that I might keep Your Word.

(Psa 119:102) I have not departed from Your judgments; for You have taught me.

(Psa 119:103) How sweet are Your Words to my taste! More than honey to my mouth!

(Psa 119:104) Through Your Commandments I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

OH YES..... One FINAL THING!

IF.... you are Not Willing to OBEY GOD..... You Will NOT..... Understand WHAT YOU ARE READING!

Thanks, RR
