My boyfriend will be away for three days in an outing with his class.. well there'll be girls.. but that's not really an issue except a little because there's this girl who is flirting with him (as he said) but I know him, and friends do know him as someone who wouldn't flirt back.

I don't know but I feel rather uneasy. I know it's not the right feeling, but it's because of the thought that he's out there doing something and having fun without me - and I couldn't help but feel sad, although I know that I shouldn't. And I am stuck here at home.

I plan to go shopping with my girl friend, but that's about it.. no overnights for little missy.. I know what he will text me, but not as much as like he does everyday, becuase I am pretty sure he'll get busy.

I know I am wrong about my feelings, but is it normal for a girlfriend to feel this way? Or maybe I am just too much and just insecure?

Trust me it's normal. My hubby was away for a year in Iraq and there were definitely some times of uneasiness and worry...jealousy, etc. But, three days will go by in a matter of no time and as long as you keep yourself busy you won't go crazy with the wondering.

Remind yourself that if he is unfaithful to you after being gone only 3 days, he is probably not much good at commitment. On the other hand, if he's never given you a reason to worry, why sweat it?

Try not to get into the "stuck at home while he's out having fun" mentality. Be happy that he's happy...don't resent it unless he excludes you all the time. Meanwhile, catch up on things you enjoy and look forward to the next time you'll see him. No need to be sad. :)

Yes it's normal and YES it's too much. I guess it's just a girl thing to be jealous of guys being around other girls who may flirt with him. You want your guy to only have eyes for you and you know that's never gonna happen. Men are visual creatures and everyone loves a little attention from the opposite sex, especially if they're hot...That's natural too.

Well this is normal because if you care for him of course anyone would be sad if their partner is away with the opposite sex. You're not there so you don't know whats happening. Try to do other things to get your mind off of it and ask some people how the trip was and if he was unfaithful (not saying he is) it might come up in the convo. I hope you feel better about this but it's natural for gf's to care.

i get jealous easily, even though i know i shouldn't. but i'm pretty sure any one would feel like you do in that situation. perfectly normal. if you start feeling really sad or insecure, just remind yourself of how much you love each other and that he would never flirt with another girl. even if she's a little cow who can't keep to herself even when the guy's in a relationship. but don't think cow....just "even if she flirts with him" yeah... :)

I think you are just feeling a little insecure. No, it's not necessarily normal, but that doesn't make you bad either. Just remember that you trust him and that it will only be for a few days and then he will be back!

Yes it's normal, yes you're insecure. It's part of being a girl (yay)...try to concentrate on what makes you happy - he can't make you happy. Have lots of fun so you're too busy to think about him. You can't spend your time worrying about what he is or isn't doing.
