Congrats on winning the Nobel Peace Prize and until today I thought he should run for President, but his anti-atheist stance in a country that prides itself on freedom of religion (and freedom FROM religion) troubles me.

he wasn't referring to the "anti-religious", he was talking about "nonbelievers", specifically

When are we going to stop putting people on a pedestal that we ourselves would fall off of? Just because someone has a belief, it doesn't mean they cannot do good in other areas. Anyway, why would atheists care what a dyed in the wool Southern Baptist thinks about them? Al Gore has never made it a secret that he is a Christian. That shouldn't take away from the fact that he made the world finally wake up and face Global Warming.

Al Gore is not the brightest bulb in the box. I think that is why he is on the global warming band wagon. He chose a cause that has existed long before Christ was born. Global warming has been happening as well as global cooling for as long as the earth has been in existence.

You find it funny that someone who thinks they are god, would be offended by someone who did not believe. You people are all nuts aren't you.

You want freedom from religion, move to the soviet union or china You would fit right in, I promise we aren't going no where, until we are out of here.

I had not heard that. I am not surprised however. I hated Clinton, and Gore is all too much a Clnton clone. Such an attack upon me as an atheist is outrageous. It is mindless. I hate Gore twice as much now.

Don't like him, believe he is a hypocrite of the highest order. Have you read the documented statistics regarding his palace compared to the house our president has on his ranch in Texas?

I think Mr. Gore referred to "anti-religious" people, without singling out Atheists. If that's the case,he was talking about people who, in one way or another, are actively criticizing religious belief or practice.
