Okay Well my Girlfriend and I were thinking of getting matching tattoos, maybe a small heart on each of our wrists
So yeahh i was just wondering if it's a good idea or not
or if you have a suggestion of any other tattoo we could get

Just matching
like a matching symbol or something
so even if something terrible does happen to our relationship, we jsut have the tattoo not a name

I love how people say, imagine how it'll be when you're 50 or 60. Okay, I'm going to be wrinkly to the max anyways. It hardly matters, haha.
Go for it, if it's just a symbol, and the wrist sounds like a good idea if you're both girls. Name tattooing in a relationship is beyond sketchy, however.

I personally don't believe it's a great idea. You might end up like Angelina and edit her tattoo because they broke up. Even if you're married theres no guarentees so it would be depressing to have someones name on your body that you want to forget. But if you truly believe that it's a good idea I think a small tattoo would be nice but not to flashy :). Best of luck with this!

Personally, I don't think you should do it. Tattoos are on there forever, and I think only if you two are really serious and are engaged or married, then you could get matching tattoos. As for now, find something that isn't so permanent, such as maybe matching necklaces or something?

Well on your wrist isn't a get spot you may not want people to see the tattoo in your future, put it where you could hide it if you want and be sure to check out at least 3 different artist to find the artist you know does a good job it's on you for life!

If you want to prove your love to each other why not buy engraved rings or bracelets? I`m sure you feel totally devoted now, but who knows what will happen in the future, and even if the tatoo is not a name or a heart, the memory of why you had it done might be something you don`t want to remember!

great idea! i love a girl with a nice tattoo. just dont get her name and if you are going to get a heart try and make it special. i think the wrist idea is good but if you want something you can cover up more try just under the belly.

No not a good idea...if you break up you will have that as a bad reminder of your relationship. Get a tattoo but one that you want and one that she wants that fits your personalities but not matching...only if you get married and even then do it on your 50th wedding anniversary!

I think it's a great idea, as long as your doing it for the right reasons. Remember that this is a life long thing, whereas your relationship may not be. Maybe if you did get tatoos, in an inconspicuous place? This way only you two would see it.

I'm getting a tattoo on both my wirsts to do with my boyfriend of 3 years... It's going to say on one wrist - ''More than yesterday..." then a B underneath and on the other wrist it'll say "...Less than tomorrow" and a D underneath....
It's a quote that I always say to him and the initials are a nickname I call him! I think it's be cute to get eachothers initials or yeah, just the matching hearts, that's really sweet.
Make them unique remember!

It seems you have not thought this through. I am TOTALLY Pro-Tattoo, I think they're great WHEN YOU DONT REGRET THEM. I just finished school & will have to hide the one on my neck when I go job hunting. (and I got it for my sister). Can you get something better in a different spot?
