My mother handed me a book by Dale Carnegie. How to Stop Worrying and Start Living at the tender age of 14. Opened to the page she wished me to read..something about making my own hell on earth..
The particular paragraph resonated but didn't sink in for decades (ouch).
The answer is a resounding yes.
