Armageddon would come in 1975 were often forced out of the organization, eventhough history has proved them right and the Watchtower wrong?

Jason: No, but if I was JW I would be disfellowshipped for questioning the organization.

I believe Catholics are saved because they accept Jesus as Lord-God, Savior.

For me it is more important to seek God and the Bible truth than follow one particular denomination.

If you are non-Catholic, you cannot have a communion with them even if you have been baptized in Christiand faith. So that is wrong, the same way as Lutherans do business with God. But they are saved because they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

NO

My Mother often chuckled when someone would mention 75 as being "THE YEAR". Often in the ministry people would ask her how she would feel if '76 came, she said she wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

"This good news of the Kingdom SHALL be preached throughout ALL the inhabited Earth"

In 75 this hadn't been fullfilled, even in part.

By the way, "the Watchtower" never predicted that 75 would be the year.

Hope this helps.

As for asking questions, the only way someone can learn is to question.

There are still people in the organisation who were around in the years leading up to 1975. They will tell you that the Watchtower did not predict anything about 1975.

A book was released (in the 60's, I think), and in it there was a table showing the chronology of Biblical events. Some Witnesses calculated from it that 1975 would be 6,000 years from Adam's creation and speculated that it could be the year when Armageddon would come.

Only through an honest desire to see the back of this old system, some began to put faith in that date, some even made financial decisions based on it, even though there is no Biblical prophecy that says Armageddon would come 6,000 from Adam's creation.

According to the Bible, only God knows when that day will come, as Matthew 24:36 says: "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father."

I am not aware of anyone being disfellowshipped for putting faith in 1975 or any other date. Some became disheartened and their spirituality waned while others realised the importance of waiting on Jehovah while eagerly awaiting the time when Jehovah's name will be vindicated.

If some Witnesses began to apostasize over the issue then they would have been disfellowshipped for apostacy, not for believing in a date.

You are a non-denominational Christian who has accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Ok then what will do with this planet after Armageddon with this planet? what the JWs explain that this planet won´t be destroy it and Jesus will restore the original purpose of his father as in Genesis 1:27-27, or what the rest of the other organizations says that this planet will be destroy it?

At the end that is the main topic of the bible waht will happen with the future ofthis planet, why don´t you investiguate that in all the churchs you know or here in the internet and ask for a bible support, you will see that the most importat topic of the bible the JWs are the only one that are telling the right information.

Why Don´t you ask that? go on do the question

"What will happen in the future after Armageddon with this planet during the millenial kingdom and provide the support with the bible, and you will realize that only JWs know what will Jesus do in the future, and then ask you why they know that and the rest don´t?

They were mistaken and have acknowledged this. They were outspoken about their mistake because they wanted the end to this dirty old system to be just that: ended.

But they had to correct themselves and go back to the Bible to see where they went wrong, and they did just that. No one knows the time nor the day and definitely not the hour.

Why do you keep going backwards instead of going forward? They realized their error and had to re-adjust their thinking.

Why don't you speak of the Catholics? Look at ALL the damage they continue to do on a daily basis. Did you know that Hitler, to this day, has never been ex-communicated from the Catholic church, and that the church had to apologize to the world basically because they monetarily backed Hitler during his murderour genocide halocaust? Do you see all the pedophelia that goes on in the Catholic regime? Do you see that folks in that organization worship Mary and Jesus, but the Bible says to only worship God? Pray in Jesus name, but only worship God, but what do they do? They even worship idols and symbols? They have meaningless traditional ceremonies in their churches every week --- before they head out the door and get drunk and whore around that night.

Yet you, you continue to pick on God's true organization. I think the only thing bad you can say about witnesses is that the predicted the end of this dirty system of things once maybe twice, and that they might wake you up on a Saturday morning to help preach the good news, but you don't see them raping or murdering anyone, or committing atrocious acts that we see many Catholics or Muslims doing on any given day. Other false religions wreak havoc also.

It is obvious that your dedication is to a darker force, but I do not see you speaking out about the many false religions in the world, but only your hate and discern for the witnesses. We live in a society where not everything is 100% but at least most all Witnesses are trying very hard. Can this be said about you?

What path are you on?

I don't think anyone was 'put out' for critizing the 1975 failed expectations. It wouldn't go down too well at the Kingdom Hall, announcing in 1976 that so-and-so 'has been disfellowshipped for critizing our failed expectations regarding 1975', would it? No, anyone upset about 1975 had two options. Either put up and shut up, or be branded as attacking 'the organization'. Now THAT merits forced ejection!

In 1993 I asked a JW about 1975 views and she told me they had never said Armageddon would come in 1975. I asked her when she'd become a JW. Surprise, surprise - after 1975. A pre-1975 convert to the JWs could NEVER have said what she'd said. I have to hand 5 Wt.Soc publications that prove they were expecting Armageddon to be over and done with by the end of 1975.

The only reason the Wt.Soc eventually admitted it had built its members' hope up too high was that non-JWs publicly exposed the truth about their predictions. A 1993 Watchtower insultingly said JWs who 'stopped serving Jehovah' [i.e. left the Wt.Soc] because expectations were not realised within a certain time period must have wrong, selfish motives. (15 May, p8) - expectations THEY had fostered!

History may have proven those who left as being correct, but the Wt.Soc has ensured its rewriting of their history about 1975 has brought about a new generation of JW converts who even deny their leaders taught Armageddon would come by 1975 - at the latest!

EDIT - NMB asks for a single, clear, concise statement saying 'the end' would come in 1975 but he cannot be emailed! So, NMB, if you are not too scared, just email me and I'll give you five!

When you can produce a single clear concise statement that CLEARLY states that the "end" was coming in 1975 then your question might be valid.

I'll wait. I'll wait for as long as it takes you to find such a statement. I will not be holding my breath though. Do you mind if I go cut the grass, maybe a little shopping and a nap while you search?

Edit to add:
Sasi, "NMB asks for a single, clear, concise statement saying 'the end' would come in 1975 but he cannot be emailed! So, NMB, if you are not too scared, just email me and I'll give you five!"

Why not provide them here so all can see? Surely it's not to much to ask is it?

I'll wait

Edited at 7:35 to add, I'm still waiting

no longer authentic in any respect. Matt.28:19, 20, says go hence and make disciples of folk of all the countries, baptizing them interior the call of the father, and of the Son and of the holy spirit, coaching them to observe all the flaws I rather have commanded you. that's rather what Jehovah's Witnesses do.

Are you a disfellowshipped person :)? All your questions seem to be around JW's.

If one has a brain of their own, then they could read their holy books and understand it and live up to it, than looking at what the church or a particular group of people have to say or do,

Yes.

Hey Adara above, guess what the difference is between ever changing Catholics and ever changing JWs? Catholics don't divide families when one of them wants to become a JW. What do you think about that?

You surely won't see a baptized JW accepted by his ex-brothers and sisters if he decides to become another religion, and he surely won't be welcome at home with his baptized mother and dad and siblings.

That's the difference. You were saying?
