ok relax..traces of albumin in the urine becomes signicant only if associated wtith an urinary tract infection..so u should ideally get an urine microscopy and culture..
also were there any urinary casts(granular, hyaline, rbc etc.)
if so it could indicate infections, calculi(stones) or trauma..
prolonged standing or exercise before the test could result in pysiological protienuria...
so u could get your doc's opinion just to relax!

Seek your doctor's opinion of course but in an otherwise healthy person (e.g. normal kidneys, no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no signs of urinary tract infection), trace albumin in the urine is typically ignored or at best, checked again in a little while to see that it hasn't changed. No need to lose sleep while you wait to chat with the doctor.

ideally the urine should not have traces of albumin. our kidney is like a filtration system, a healthy kidney do not excrete proteins(i.e.albumin) since its molecule is big enough to be excreted.
are you consuming too much protein lately?
