one of my friends MIGHT have mono but not sure yet..
#1 how could he know if he has mono or not?
#2 how could i help him to avoid it or at least something.
i need an answer quick PLEASE!!

1. go to the doctor and get tested for mono.
2. do not share saliva... this means kissing, sharing eating utensils, cups, drinks, food, etc.
3. wash your hands often as this is just good policy.

If he thinks he has Mono, he should make an appt. with his doctor and find out for certain. You can only help him in the meantime by telling him to get some rest. You can help yourself (avoid getting it too) by staying away (or at least not kissing etc.) until you find out for certain what he has.
