I wish you had given the recipe and said how long you refrigerate this dough before the watery thing starts happening. Do you mean that the dough gets water separating out? Do the cookies spread out more than usual in spite of refrigerating? Are you using any ingredient that could have changed but you didn't know? Margarine? Different brand of flour with a bit less gluten? Eggs a bit older? Are you using a different mixer? I just bought my first Kitchen Aid mixer and found one of my long time favourite cake recipes come out very different because, I suppose, the dough got mixed much more thoroughly than I used to do with the hand mixer. Just some guesses there.

I was going to say at the grocery store as most stores carry the chips and bars of chocolate used in baking, but I'm thinking of the US you may not be here. Hope you find what your looking for.

You can use any chocolate that is made from 70% cocoa, or even a little less...these chocolate bars usually say that they are high in cocoa on the lables.

Family Dollar or Dollar General, baby!!!
LOVE that place!
Dollar General chocolate is really good too.
I personally like it more than Herseys.

Don't know where you live, but in the US, they're in the baking sections of all our groceries - near flour and sugar and cake mixes, etc.
