I don't know I suspect something similar to my Attenborough answer.

I don't know. I don't even know who he is or was.

I do know, though, why Sir Isaac Newton accepted God : the fulfilled prophecies of the Bible. Did I hear someone say that Newton was irrational?

The truth of the matter is that if Newton had lived until 1798, he would have seen more of the prophecies fulfilled.
