Is this something some or most of them offer? If so, any idea of the cost for 2 Chinese characters? And how long does it last? Thanks!

closest thing to that, would be just the outline, using the ditto paper transfer.
you would only get size and placement........

tattoos are permanent (temporary tattoos are currently a myth, the ink is placed far enough under your skin to stay there)

if you want to try out a tattoo, try drawing it on with permanent marker, or henna.

as for price - that's up to the individual tattoo artist, who charge different prices - some charge by the hour, some by the size, with intricacy of the piece taken into consideration. find a local recommended tattoo artist and ask them

look for tattoo parlors that have temporary henna ink... It's a temporary tattoo... You can wear it for the day, see if you like it, see if others like it and if you do get it permanent

Make sure you ask if they have the temporary henna kits, because regular henna is permanent

Or have them draw the tattoo on you with perm. marker :) it won't look like a tattoo but you can at least see what the design will look like and see if you are comforatble with it

yeah, it's called a sharpie....and it will probably last about a 4 days or so, depending if you don't scrub it too hard.....they might just do it for free....and sharpies come in a rainbow of colors, so you can choose! I would definetly say, for chinese characters (unless you are chinese), that a sharpie is as far as you should go.

They don't do that but they can draw it on you and you can go home and think about it before you committ...they will probably charge you for the drawing though.
