I know Somalia was a host for the cold war between the
former USSR and the US and both were sending arms to Somalia worth millions, but did the Somalians used those weapons against each other during the civil war?

fieldguns, Grad rocket artillery, Neva SA-2 missiles, unknown SS missile, bridging equipment, BRDM1, the planes are probably Hawker Hunter

I think that most of that equipemnt was already not operational during the civil war, with exception of the fieldguns and rocket artillery.

Your link shows standard Russian artillery pieces, both sides in the Somalia Civil War used these against each other as well as the hundreds of thousands small arm's items sent by Russia and the USA.

Host, I believe, would not be the correct word, as during the Cold War there was very little advantage to be had by either Russia or the USA getting the upper hand in Somalia, it was a standard practice as Russia was supporting Egypt & associated countries, and America was backing Israel, Jordan, etc..etc..

Im sure most of the missles and rockets were used up and it is now mainly mortars and small arms with some recoilles weaponry.
