What is your religion if you have one and why do you believe what you do? Do you respect other religions? Because so often I'm finding people don't.

Personally, I am a Christian but I respect all other religions except the ones who openly admit they worship evil (devil worshiping). That just doesn't make sense. Why do you think some people decide to worship evil?

Tell me anything you can about your religious beliefs and how you practice them. Have a good day :)

Hello there :)
I am a Muslim, our religion is based on the fact that there is only one God the creator and sustainer and we must submit our will to Him (total submission to the will of God in arabic means Islam)

Translation of the holy Quran:
112: 1-4
1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
4. And there is none like unto Him.

we also believe that Mohammed (PBUH) is the last messenger of God

translation of the holy quran

33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

Not only that, we also believe in God's messengers that he sent to mankind before Mohammed (PBUH) and their holy books ( in their original form), in angels, h

translation of the holy Quran

4:136 O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messenger., and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.

We do not believe that Jesus (PBUH) was killed, instead we believe that he was saved by God:
translation of the holy Quran

4:157 That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

we were instructed not to follow Satan because he's our worst enemy and he will try his best to keep us off the right path as he did with Adam and Eve (PBUT) in heaven

we believe that in the day of judgment we will be rewarded or punished based on what we did in our life...

translation of the holy Quran:

6:164 Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah. He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed."

well I can go forever here.. but I would be glad to tell you more if you're interested... or want to discuss some issues..

May God help us all to the right path...

I am a unificationist, I do respect other people religions because my religion is actually the unification of all religions.
I believe in one God, and that he did send Moses, Jesus and Mohamed,
I don't believe that Jesus came to die on the cross, and I also don't believe that the merciful God who loves human beings would actually create a tree that will make them suffer that much, consequently I believe that the fall wasn't just because of a fruit.

I'm an atheist and I respect peoples religious beliefs because its wrong to judge someone based solely on that aspect of their lives when there is so much more to people.
The only thing that annoys me is when people continually try to convert others, forcing their beliefs on other people - if people are having a discussion about their beliefs it's one thing, but to tell a group of people they are wrong and going to hell doesn't do much other then get people offside.
Its important to respect each others beliefs.

No religious belief.

I feel that if a belief does not transform into an experience, i don't continue with that belief.

For me purpose of religions is to develop virtues in people. Virtues help in rising spiritually and on that spiritual path few beliefs turn into direct experiences and stupid beliefs get dropped.

Direct knowledge is same. Its only written differently in different religions.

Practice of meditation and deeds in conformity with inner self have helped in this journey.

Yep I respect other religions as long as they dont try to brainwash me. If I wanted meat Id go to the butcher. If I wanted religion Id go to church. I reckon if you treat folk the way that you'd want folk to treat you thats cool. For every bad thing you put out you get it back 10 fold. For every good thing you do it comes back to you 1000 fold I think. Theres good and evil to balance the world .Some people get caught up in **** that they know nothing about. So y'all be nice o.k?

I am Baha'i. I believe and practice the teachings of Baha'u'llah because they resound and resonate deeply in my heart and mind. The central teachings are the oneness of humanity; there is one race the human race and all that implies; the oneness of God, known by different names and understood differently by different cultures through the ages; and the oneness of religion, meaning that the reality of religions is fundamentally one and progressively revealed through a series of universal educators including Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, The Bab, and today, Baha'u'llah. I practice these beliefs by being a friend to all who cross my path, ridding the world of prejudice, and by helping to build the infrastructure that will bring justice and prosperity to all humanity. Thanks, I'm having a fabulous day! You too!

Hello there,

I'm a Muslim but I also believe in other prophets like Jesus and Moses.

In fact as a Muslim we have to believe in Jesus peace be upon him and in his mother virgin Mary.

There is a whole Sura in Quran Under the name of Maryam "Mary".

In Quran Allah says: "And Mary, daughter of ’Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient"

In Quran another story about Jesus "[19:30]
He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet,

[19:31]
And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive,

[19:32]
And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest.

[19:33]
Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!

[19:34]
Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt."

Another thing about Islam, we belive in christianity and jewdaism as religions from God so Muslims and Christians and Jews worship the same God but in differrent ways.

Now we get to the important point, first of all there where Jews and who died before yhe mitionary of Jesus are forgiven if they woship God correctly.
Then there is christianty and finally Islam.

So Jews belive in Moses alone, Christians believe in Moses and Jesus.
As for Muslims they have all Moses & Jesus & Muhammad on thies side.

Its about chronological order.

Hope you fined this interesting,, have a nise day.
