why don't girls ask out guys on dates? i mean if they want everything to be equal why not?

nothing's wrong really,
asking a guy for a date,
wouldn't make you a less person,
i really think it's not about the gender issue,
it's more on the rejection,
we are not used to,
of bein' turn-down,
neither some of the guys does,
we care about how someone
would consider our request,
particularly when we like someone so much,
can't consider anything that might spoil
the possibility of bein' LIKED by that person...

1. Men have more "needs"; its understandable that they ask girls out. If they don't, they'll explode. (Well, not really, but you know what I mean.") Girls' needs, however, are not as strong. It makes more sense for them to be comfortable without a partner. So when a girl asks out a guy, she is basically acting sort of masculine. Which girls know is a turn-off to guys.
2. Women know that men only value what they work for.

Guys don't show emotion as much as women do, so I think it is hard for women to tell if a guy is actually interested or not. I think women feel it is sufficient enough to drop clues and subtle hints rather than just ask. I think if guys and girls were both more forward there wouldn't be this barrier anymore.

that's just soemthing in life you ahve to understand.guys are just meant to ask girls out not girls.haven;t you heard of the saying"be a man?"so don't be sacred just take a chance.and if you do get rejected ,try to think of it as a good thing.it's just giving you more practice in life.(:

There could be many reasons why... fear of rejection, not wanting to get invovled at the time, have their eye on someone else and want to see what happens, or just don't think of you that way.

Because you need to know that the guy likes you and that e is just not making it up so he needs to ask you out so you definately know that he likes you!!

Two: girls like it when u flirt w/ them!
Three: it makes girls feel fuzzy, yes fuzzy, and special when the guys asks them out!
