Freaky dream?

I had this dream where I'm at my mom's funural. She was in the casket, but she was sitting next to me and dad, alive and well. She was talking to everyone. No one seemed to notice that this was very strange. No one was sad.

My mom's not dead.

since in your dream she was both dead and alive, I would take it to mean that you in real life feel that something inside her is dying, maybe a dream or a life goal. it could even be her going through menopause. I would just take it that you have noticed a change in her.
why not take her to lunch and have a girl chat
