his best friend went up to me and asked me to dance with him... and so while i was dancing with his best friend he is standing there
so i go up to him and ask if he wants to dance and hes like naw
so 15 ish mins later hes standing there still and i ask if he wants to dance hes like later
later i see him dancing with another girl, and another and another..
i was really upset... should i have been?

Hmm you should have got the hint the first time, but it took you two times and now you want to know if you have the right to be upset about it? Yes, be upset if you want to but he didnt do anything wrong. He simply didnt want to dance with you for whatever reason. But dont focus on him, focus on the dudes you did dance with. AND dont ask more than once in the future, it makes you look like a stalker.

I could understand being upset, because it was like he kept putting you off and then next thing you know he's dancing with other girls.
But, I have to agree with some of the other answers, you should just forget about him. He is a loser if he didn't dance with you. You don't need a guy that is disrespectful and plays games. He's a loser, and you are too good for him.

No...if you like someone you want them to like you back!!!
It kinda hurts if they don't :-(
Next time find a guy who asks you to dance and is interested in you in return so you feel you don't have to chase them!
Even if this guy DID dance with you....he still would have gone on to dance with the other girls
He's not the type to get tied to anyone right now
So even if he did ask you.....he would have asked them after!!!

Maybe his best friend wanted to have you all to his self. No matter what, it is not a big deal. You'll get over it; It happens to all guys some of the time, and to some guys all of the time. Chicks do this sort of thing all of the time.

no, you got rejected. it happens to guys all the time. have you never been to a club before. you see guys get turned down all over the place but we deal with it and move on.

Maybe he's backing off because he thinks his best friend likes you. Maybe he's not interested. Either way don't ask next time.

Maybe your just not his type, or he may be interested in one girl in particular. Don't take it personal its not liek you can hear at those things anyway.
