If someone broke over with me over the phone or a text or online chat i wouldn't take it serious. You need to go face to face which is the hardest thing to do an just get it out there. Tell him/her how you really feel and if you really feel like banging there best friend "i'd leave that part out"... haha

Honey, forget right away the phone, the email and the online chat.
Breaking up is hard for everyone, and although it's never easy to see a persons reaction, telling him face to face proves to him that you atleast respect him.

that depends on the length and depth of your relationship. if you still wanna be friends and end it well, better be face to face. if someone you love wants to break up with you, which way would you like? surely not over a text or email?

Well if you are going to break up with them and you are very scared i think you should email or maybe call then and tell them though email is good but they may not get it for a while so i would say call if you really dont want to meet in person but it is best to meet in person so go with phone if you have to

The best thing is to see the person face to face. No matter hard it is for a breal up, the person is still entitled to your explanation. No matter how bad was your relationship you still have to end it nicely.

better way in breaking up? The first break up i had (i was the one breaking up), i told him face to face "this doesnt work for me anymore", he would ask you WHY? (tell the truth). Mine is i dont feel the same way,( i dont love you. )
this guy broke up with me on the text. telling me its over. well, i got hurt of course and was hoping he would tell me face to face. i saw him and he said he didnt mean it, i got mad and left him.
i guess its face-to-face.

there is no easy way, but be nice, be yourself, but i wouldnt do this over the phone...but definately not my text, e-mail or chat...at least let him hear your voice...you really should sit face to face so you can talk. it is probably the hardest convo to have but you both deserve to share your feeling to eachother face to face.
