I have always been curious- you say that there is no proof that God exists- what if you lived at the time that Jesus came to earth, would you have believed then, even after He was resurrected? Jesus said- "blessed are those who believe and have not seen" I am just interested to see how many non-believers would really believe if Jesus would come today- He just may!

for the one who said that he did not perform those miracles and they were only told by people to make us obey- how could that be- Jesus had to die on the cross for our sin, nothing can make us good except that. SORRY!

when Jesus does come back- He comes back as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

if I lived "back there"and nothing happened then i would not believe because you cannot believe in nothing- however something did happen - please answer my question- instead of throwing it back at me- because I know from past experience here when the ques. is asked in reverse you dont like when we throw it back in reverse to you.

Romans 1:21-25 explains some what why some don't believe in God. Don't take it so personal some people didn't believe Jesus they sure not going to believe you. By the way I believe in God but I had to throw in my 2 cents worth. Good question.

I sure you're well-meaning and I'm going to answer your question in the same spirit in which you asked it. Please don't be offended, if you knew me you'd know I'm just a matter-of-fact person. (My wife is religious and we have these discussions all the time.)
The reason why I don't believe a God exists is not because I think there is no proof, but because I have no reason to even expect such proof. Nothing has shown me in a lifetime of experiences that there is any reason to believe there is a God. To me, it's more likely that UFOs exist because there is more evidence of it.
To be sure there are miraculous things in the world that seem like they could only be because of a higher being. Yet time and again we find a completely rational reason for them. It's only now that we don't have the instruments, the insight, the luck that would reveal the mysteries of life we struggle with today.

You know, there's a book out called Misquoting Jesus that goes into the scholarly research on biblical texts. Two points leapt out at me from this book: 1) There is no really accurate english translation of the Bible in existance. WOW!
2) All references to Jesus as God are actually mistranslations, including instances where a symbol that means God is actually a symbol not meaning God, that has a dash bled in from the other side of the page. Accurate translations do not ever say Jesus is God.
So...

Prove to me. I know lots of people who lie, about all sorts of things. The miracles Jesus is credited with in the Bible are not the most extraordinary feats. For all we know he was just a stage magician with a God complex. I apply critical thinking to everything. Just because a popular book tells me something, that doesn't mean it's true. The Qoran was written many years ago and they claim Muhammed was the last true prophet of God. You don't believe that and neither do I. I also don't believe the Bible, on the same grounds.

It's the same question "Do Aliens Exist " I have a belief in all the extraterrestrial activity that is happening on our planet and a lot of other people do as well. Only a lot of people haven't seen them either. In a bet who do you think will come to the earth first Jesus or Aliens it's the same question your asking we all don't truly know.

Was he really resurrected or was his corpse stolen by his believers. Why would a kind and caring god allow the likes of Hitler or Stalin or Bush? Why would he allow pedophiles or child rapist and murders. Why so much war and famine? My question is how can you believe in a god with so much screwed up in this world. Where is he? Please dont tell me he is in the sound of a child laughing or a puppy dog or some crap like that. God is dead!

I believe in God but when I think about all the people back during Jesus time who saw him, heard him speak, watched him do miracles and they still didn't believe..... I doubt that many today would be any different, sad to say.

Well yeah thats the kicker isn't it. If I could actually see proof that god existed then I might believe in him. The fact of the matter is that there is no proof. There are just stories from hundreds of years ago. We are told we are supposed to accept them on faith because if we don't we are going to burn in hell.
Ask your self this, if you wanted someone to believe something, would you try and give them a good reason for believing it, instead of just threatening them with punishment if they don't believe it, you would just give them a reason to believe it.
But god doesn't give reasons, he just expects the people of the world to believe in him based completely on faith, but if you don't believe in him he punishes you for it. If that god exists I don't' want to worship him.
The reality is god doesn't exist at all.

But Jesus didn't come to Earth so there'd be no reason to believe in God back then.
Besides, we know more about mental health now than those who worshipped schizophrenics (which is what all those holy figures that heard voices in their heads were suffering from).

I say Jesus was a real person. but nobody has proof of the resurrection. I believe in God and going to heaven. That's it. The whole 'evolution is wrong' and 'we are not evolved from apes' thing i personally think is bull crap. (No offense)
