Ask Mr. Burns but of course he won't tell you the truth. He's still in denial about the three eyed fish.

The dog sounds a bit like the three eyed fish on the Simpsons!!

If you think about the magic of conception it is a miracle that things turn out right as often as they do. Two little half cells join together and then start to divide and multiply. Soon each cell will start to be specialised for a certain purpose - brain, heart etc.

Pretty incredible really.

Yup, happened to my sister in law. The baby also had webbed feet!! Seriously, the poor wee soul had bits of skin in between his toes, and an extra toe on each foot (next to the pinky) It is something to do with chromosomes (obviously) and does not effect walking or balance. My nephew is 18 now and you would never know it had ever happened.

its just a genetic alteration in the dogs DNA which caused what is scientifically known as a "genetic mutation". The difference in sequence just happened to affect those parts of the dog.
