I would say that by myself there is no reason at all why I should be let in, but i have accepted Jesus and His gift of salvation so it isn't just me alone. The Holy Spirit and Christ are with me and representing me before God, and their perfectness washes away my sin.

Carlos, God knew the answer before I was born.
I won't worry about it.
I trust, pray, and try to lead a good life. If I sin, I ask forgiveness, I'm not perfect, but I know deep deep down God loves little me.

He wouldn't have to ask. I would be suprised, but he's funny sometimes, so I would answer His question anyway. I'm not worthy but I have maintained a loving relationship with you all of my life and have looked forward to this very moment. I have sacrificed many of my own selfish desires to spread your love on Earth. I know how a parent feels. I have a child of my own. He is not perfect, but I love him anyway. He does his very best for me. I do my very best for the Lord, and he knows it.
Take care.

I'd say:
"Thank you for the gift of heaven through the saving work of Jesus. I never would have made it hear without His work."

I don't think that anyone deserves to go to hell, not even people like Hitler or Stalin. These are all people, who even though they did horrible things, do not deserve, in my opinion, eternal punishment. Even if you gave Hitler a punishment that would put him through all the pain that he caused others, I don't think that it would last forever.

We can't do anything to "earn" salvation, therefore, He wouldn't ask that question. He knows who is saved, who has their name written "in the Lambs Book of Life." He has no need to ask why, he will just welcome the saved persons in. But, to answer to your question the way you asked it, if He should have asked, I would have said, "Because you are my Father." And He would say, "I know, welcome home."

I don't think I would have to say anything.
He would see the blood of His Son covering my sin.
And Jesus will be right there saying, "Father, this one's Mine."
Thank You Jesus.
