I'm shy and dont think I'm ever going to be able to date. What do I do?

I'm 20 and haven't dated. Now I just avoid the topic of relationships or lie because I'm so embarrassed I've never had one.

Is it always going to be this way for me? Help?

In High school the shy girls were
there, just waiting.
Now they are older, still shy,
and lonely for nice Male companionship.
Go to where they are.

Church - Many a Woman hopes to meet
a nice Church going Man.

Grocery shopping- Lot's of Women there.
Ask them about different food items.

The Library - Most Women read something.
This would be a good place to meet someone
having your same interest.

Friends -They have Sisters, and Cousins.

Why not today? Go and have a weekend night's out. Reach out to people around you. Start with your colleagues. Maybe there's that person whom you did not notice at the first time because you're been avoiding the relationship issue all these time.

Don't be embarrased just because you've never had a relationship before. Just try to get out more and mingle. Then take it slowly from there.

i think eventually you will be able to have a relationship. people are shy , thats nature. i was very shy and never thought i would be able to date. you have to become friends first sometimes it helps out a little, or just get a friend to set you up on a date and see how it goes. you dont have tell anyone you have not had a relationship , thats your business. but i very sure that you will gradually come out the shy stage. i did, byt every now and then i still get shy with my boyfriend about hings. sometime syou just cant help it. i have faith in you. you have to take risk sometimes, if you dont life will pass u on by. if you get shot done just keep on to the next .... i know you have the courage deep down , you just got to bring it out!

No, it's not going to always be like this. You will eventually get to the point where you come out of your shell. Women can be a little intemadating. This is nothing to be embarrassed about. Heck I think it's a turn on. A guy who is a relationship virgin? Does this mean that you are "A VIRGIN?" Oh, yeah I'm all over it! Too bad I'm married. :)

You have to give yourself some confidence. Hold your head up because there is someone out there for you. You have to make yourself seem single and ready for someone to step into your life. Try to dress nice and go out to places where there are people who you Can mingle with and get to know more. There are some places that have a "Singles Night" where singles can meet other singles. Try to go to places like that. Try to look appealing but not that appealing. Let your best features show. If you went to a good college with a scholarship then let ladies (or men) know. If you have a great job, let them know so you can connect with them and find the one for you.

U are just go out and have confidence, a girl will come along someday, if ur not wating for it to happen it might just happen. might not make sence but example: my babysitter from when i was little had dates, but not the right guy and then one day when she wasn't looking he came and now they are getting married in May. I haven't dated either and am not hopping to date till i am 15 or 16. U might not want to know sorry if u don't like what i am telling u. Be ur self, don't be embarresed, some one will come along. all right ive heard this one before wat u need to do is relax and play it cool. if ur overweight LOOSE IT. if you have acne then well its a bit hard to get rid of but if you do and ur not too skinny or not to big the girls will love u. but if ur already like that than go for it because hey what will happen the girls going to taze u and kick u in the nuts HELL NO theyll just say no thank u.
PS: if this is a girl that you no or have known for a long time than just say this. hi umm i was wanderin if u want to get together some time and well u know go on a date. and if she says no shes not going to dislike and u can still be freinds with her

Be cool!
I wish being shy was something that you could turn off and on, but it's not. Try to stay focus and relaxed and you should be fine. People understand when your shy and if they don't.. that's not a person for you.
