are you looking for recipes for either of these, or are you asking which i prefer. I really like bread pudding better than banana bread. here is a couple of good recipes if you would like to try making either of them

Banana Bread
1/2 cup butter or crisco 2 cups flour
1 cup sugar 1 tsp soda
2 eggs dash of salt
3 real ripe bananas peeled and smashed
1/2 cup chopped nuts
cream butter and add sugar gradually. Beat in eggs and add bananas. Beat well. Add flour sifted with soda and salt; add nuts and stir. Bake 40 to 50 minutes in a greased loaf pan at 350 degrees. This recipe can be tripled and loaves froze for later date.

Bread Pudding
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups 1-inch day-old bread cubes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt; stir in bread cubes . Stir in brown sugar and raisins. Pour mixture into an 8x1 3/4 inch round ovenware cake dish. Place pan in larger shallow pan on oven rack; pour hot water in larger pan 1 inch deep. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Serves 6. I have used day old coffee cake , doughnuts and rolls mixed in with the bread. or some cinnamon bread if you have some that is getting stale. Also a good way to use up the heals of the bread if nobody eats them. Just freeze them cut up already and when you have the amount you need thaw and make your bread pudding.

banana bread pudding, make bread pudding walnuts and some banana extract or liquer. when its almost dont slice some bananas over the top and sprinkle with sugar and put it under the broiler to carmelize, like creme brulee
