Haha, reminds me of one of my favorite sayings.

If god wanted man to believe in him, then why did he give him the ability to use logic?

I am sure what Oscar Wilde was that man is less than we should be. Not literally that God overestimated Himself.

I don't find it very interesting. It was one of Oscar's poorer attempts at humor; trying to sound like an even more cynical Samuel Clemens.
