I don't have to join a boycott of Wal-Mart. I hate the place and I never shop there. I worked there once for a month between jobs and it was the most horrible place to work I can imagine. A few of the people who worked there were nice, but a lot of them were the most unfriendly and unhappy bunch of people I ever met.

Take the toy that you found on the shelf to the store manager. They should have a list of recalled toys. If you don't get a response then contact your states attorney general and they will get on it. Trust me it works!!

Some times things slip by them however every store has a list of recalled items posted in customer service so if you see a recalled item on the shelves let them know it's there so no one else buys it.

You need to check the lists. When I checked not all the recalled toys were sent to the US. A lot of them went to Canada. The Elmo work bench tat I bought for my son last year for Christmas was recalled, but when I looked on the government web site it was only the ones sent to Canada.

Often it is only a certain batch of toys made between certain dates that are recalled. The newer and older versions of the toy are often perfectly safe. Are you matching the manufacture dates, or just the toy name?

Just the other day i was in rite-aid and they had it posted up that the dora explorer talking house had been recalled and then when i took my son to wal-mart and went into the toys i seen that dora house sitting right on the shelf for sale.
I think that they should be taking them off the shelves.
I told a worker there but i think that they didn't do anything.

Because everything in a Walmart was made in China. They don't want to hurt China's feelings. Walmart stopped being a good American company when Sam Walton died. Everyone should do some research and figure it out for themselves. I don't shop at Walmart and I encourage others to do the same until they sell "made in America" goods again.

All corporations are cutting corners these days. A day doesn't go by that there isn't another recall. It's all about the dollar and they know it.

Start demanding that your products are made in the USA.

I want my country back!

because they are like all stores out there, they can't get them off the shelves fast enough for all the recall notices........
and it cost's them money, and all stores are the same, they all are having issues with removing allllllllllllll the toys
