and then the same people later claim that there isn't any evidence?

I realize that I posted evidence after some of the posts, but it's not like this is a new topic or that the posters are new to this forum.

Oooooh I see, they must be color blind and unable to see the blue links I provided.

The problem with many of the sources I read is that they are .pdf files on government websites. As in the linked question, my sources there are from the California social services website.

On my computer I have to save the file to disk before I can read them, I can only assume some others might have the same problem.

I have also seen many other credible sources used, that are ignored again and again.

I'll agree with you in the cases of people who repeatedly used a copy & pasted answer with a long list of vague websites and no direct answer to anything.

I think what annoys me the most about this situation is the fact that many pros treat the subject as if the antis have no valid points at all.

Because the evidence is overwhelming and they cannot even begin to refute it from an intellectual base. So they immediately either pull the race card (the most typical response) or yell that the source isn't "valid".....despite the fact that the sources are innumerable, the data scientific and fact based (and frequently done by think tanks, academicians, etc.)

Actually whenever I see them post either one of those responses , I smile...because I know that they know that they've lost the argument on an intellectual level.

Personally I try to see both sides. I try not to open links on here because once i did i ended up getting some type of virus wich in the end cost me about $55.00 to get fixed. As for the comments listed on those links that's iffy as well because just like you can post your supposedly "evidence" a pro-illegal can post a link that can contradict what you say. So which one am I to believe? it would be so much easier if someone gave a listing of a reputable biased site that would tell the truth and nothing but the truth, instead of just trying to make their side look better.

Most Anti post documentation from sources that are not creditable, I look at the source and if its from some hate group, I do not bother to consider it. If its from a creditable neutral source, Government or top shelves University ,I will consider it. I just read one Antis rant that had maybe 12 source's (city of Dallas) and when I click on 4 0f them. all stated " unavailable".site

Facts seem to confuse them...they have no retort for those.

Edit: Drixnot...I don't think pro's read the links that provide evidence of the money that illegals are costing the U.S. citizens because they have no links to post to back up their own claims. I doubt many of them click on the links because they clearly blow their unfounded arguments into thin air. There is simply no factual retort for them. The responses are all the same...your sources aren't good enough, why can't you understand they just come here for a better life, they are such hard workers, and on and on. Or, perhaps they just don't care to be enlightened to the billions of dollars illegals drain from our economy. Illegals and pro's are like the blind leading the blind, it makes no sense at all. It's much easier to just call us racist and be on their merry way.

Well, that's the way of life. You can't have control over everything all the time. Guess, you have control in Iraq(excluding Afghanistan) and no control on immigration in your frontyard. That's kind of odd. Can't wash own body and 8000 Miles out to wash other's!

well when they're fighting for their welfare and survival, the evidence against them would only be seen as American stuff that is inherently racist
such as illegals saying, "They only say that cuz they hate us"
but in any case, illegals aren't necessarily evil or anything , cuz living in Mexico sucks so bad

because so many of them are collecting from the same welfare programs as so many illegals. they worry that if the working members of society get feed up enough to cut the illegals off these programs, we might try to shut them down for good. then where would so many able bodied people get checks from every month. what to you want them to do, get a job or something. they might have to pick lettuce.

Illegals are illegals.... no evidence. Honestly, I'm kind of tired of seeing angry messages about illegals, Mexicans and such.... It's like a "shaking the air" or "letting steam out".... You're angry and you write this over and over.... "WHY? WHY WHY? Illegals?"
I hate the fact we have illegals here... however, your topic is not new and thus it is not interesting.... It looks like on Immigration subject there is nothing to discuss but illegals and Mexicans...... I 'm fed up already... Let's discuss Arnold and his way from Austria to the office of the Governor in California..

well the government don't do ANYTHING. (remember immigration law) they rather focus in politics and BS.

so suck it up.

(I don't think you can get ANY public service without a Social Security Card) so common now,

just remember that when you have to vote, please vote and stop complaining.

where is that evidence you're talking about?? statement from you is NOT an evidence. All of the "illegals" that I know have to pay full amount for college, when they get sick they pay full amount for the doctor, there's no medical aid for them.
