It depends on what county you were in at the time of the ticket, whether or not it was in a road construction area (fines double) or a school zone.

It will be at least a couple hundred dollars though.

You can call your local municipal court on Monday and find out how much you owe.

The cost depends on the city you're in and how the cop feels, lol. I do know that 25 miles over the speed limit is a felony though.

Funny you should ask! It just so happens that I have a ticket from Texas right in front of me (and for the record, I never said it was mine). It says: "$6.00 per mile over speed limit plus $85.00 court cost. So that's ($6.00x24)+85 = $229.00.

Of course, it varies by county and city.
