If you have the Windows XP installer CD, insert it and do a REPAIR installation of Windows XP. Else, purchase a Windows XP Home Edition CD for $100 and do as above.

You deleted necessary files for the computer to boot. Your best bet to fix it is to restore it. Your computer should have come with a cd labeled "restore cd". This will completely erase the hard drive and put the operating system back on. It will be like the first time your computer was turned on. So you're going to lose your music, videos, pics, etc. I'm sure there is a way to fix it without a restore, but it would be difficult. You could take it to a computer repair service if you have the time and money.

Boot up with the Windows XP in your CD drive. Do a repair and things should be OK after that. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to reinstall which means everything you had on your HD will be gone after that.

Hey Buddy Chill. This can be resolved rather easily.
First you need to boot your pc with your win-Xp cd.Hope u know how to.(You have to change your boot sequence to make it boot from CD first.)
Once u have done it-select install windows option(do not worry,we will repair it).
In the screen that follows select f8
Then follow the instructions on each screen.
There will come a time when either you have select from the option which will require you to either install a fresh copy or repair using quick repair by pressing 'R'
on this screen press 'R' and let windows repair itself
its simpler than it sounds.
Remember do not select repair options on the first screen(repair through console).it is tricky to use and you may not be able to do it.

well bud, you probably won't be able to start in safe mode nor the Last Known Good Configuration mode using F8 right before your computer boots into Windows startup considering that message came up. Not much you can do now to put it simply, you will have to reinstall your windows software or have a technician rebuild your startup files.

Nothing to do but reinstall Windows, just like it said.

Use your Windows XP CD, or your system restore CD if that is what you have.

Sounds like you learned your lesson, so I will skip the lecture about deleting files if you don't know what they do....:)

1) i would borrow someone elses PC and connect your hard drive to it with a USB to IDE cable (with power cord).
2) get all your files off your hard drive and put them on another hard drive or put them on the PC you used.
3) format your hard drive in NTFS format and re-install windows on it.
4) after windows is back on your hard drive put all your files back on it.
5) dont delete any more system files

Reinsert the WIndows installation CD and do a repair installation.
PREMIO should have given you one, it not you'll have to call them.
